Great breakfasts with so nice owners, great and very chill place, just perfect to get rest, feel relax. The roosters were a part of our life during our stay, but their songs did not disturb, reather were w part of being there. The surrounding and the bush made us relax and the green let the eyes calm. Just perfect place, like in heaven. I would reccomend for everybody. If I had to choose a place on Rarotonga again I would go to Jo and Odette again!

What a great opportunity to enjoy 4 nights at JO's farmstay. Joe and Odette are so welcoming. The chickens and the cat were equally welcoming. Our last 4 last in Rarotonga capped off a great trip and the proximity to local attractions as well as the beauty of the area really made our stay wonderful.

The roosters can get noisy during the night but that would be everywhere in Raro..

We have spent a beautiful week at Jo's farmstay charming Rooster cottage Odette and Joe are great hosts, very helpfull and accomodating. Breakfasts together were excellent opportunities to taste delicious homemade food, meet new friends,and learn about local places and culture. We would love to visit again in future.

Wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome and they went out of their way to help us. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. It was valuable to have time with them and the other guests 3/4 morns of the week to learn about local history, places to visit etc. and get to know our kind hosts. We felt like we got to know a local family and not just have a tourist experience. The location was close to Muri Beach but free of the resort and busy energy. Easy to catch the buses to go anywhere around the island. CAPS supermarket and the burger restaurant were 5-8 mins max walk away. We were happy with our decision not to stay at a resort. Meitaki ma'ata, Joe and Odette. See you again!

Booking.com gives a "misleading information" on breakfast by saying "breakfast is included and is a Genius benefit". It is not a Genius benefit - the hosts serve breakfast to all guests and not just to guests doing booking through Booking.com.

Hosts Joe and Odette are excellent hosts. They both made it a point to make us comfortable in the best possible way throughout our stay. Their communication with us was very good all throughout - right from the time we booked the room. They pre-booked taxi for our airport transfers, and for activities that we wanted to do while in Raro. The average quality of accomodation is more than made up by the warm hospitality of these two hosts. Breakfast is served three days a week to all guests and it is really good. However, Booking.com gives a "misleading information" on this by saying breakfast is free and is a Genius benefit. It is not - the hosts serve breakfast to all guests and not just to guests doing booking through Booking.com.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this idyllic farm nestled amidst stunning mountains. The scenery was simply breathtaking and provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cosy cottages were equipped with everything one could possibly need for a comfortable stay. What truly made our experience special was the warm hospitality of our hosts, Joe and Odette. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and at home throughout our stay. To top it off, we were treated to delicious donuts with jam that added an extra touch of sweetness to our visit. I highly recommend this charming farm for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a picturesque setting.

We felt so welcomed at the farm stay. Our cabin was lovely. Very clean and fresh. We loved hanging out on our balcony in the evening. The croissants at breakfast were amazing and then the bigger breakfast at the house was great and was very nice to get to know our hosts more. We were able to rent a scooter for a great price from Jo which was so convenient. They have bikes too. I also borrowed some reef shoes and they have snorkel gear. Overall a lovely stay. Would highly recommend

Everything!… we felt so at ease and welcome, Jo & Odette went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, and every 2nd day we had breakfast with the hosts and other guests with gluten free breakfast for my wife. Also the resident cat Rusty was a real joy to have around and he was a surrogate replacement for kitty at home :)

The hidden little gem of Rarotonga, with the best hosts! Amazing breakfast provided and cosy private home at our disposal. A lot of space for car parking within the property, and farm very centrally located on the island, close to some of the nicest beaches on the island. Would recommend and stay here again next time I travel to the island! Don't hesitate - just go!

This stay wasn’t 10/10 it was 100/10! It started with our pick up at the airport which was arranged by them- taxidriver Max was great, gave us lots of tips and was very friendly! Than we just had a best time staying with Joe and Odette. Our little house was spotless clean, we had our own bedroom with very comfortable bed and fan, our little living room and kitchen with fridge and fully supplied kitchen and very clean bathroom with toilet and shower, lots of towels- face towels, shower towels and even beach towels. Great little terrace with chairs and table. Right next to the house there was a clothesline with lots of space. If you have a car you can park right next to the house. Joe and Odette are the sweetest hosts, they are so friendly and their house is open any time if you want to ask something or need help with something. When we didn’t have a car Odette took us to the town in the morning, other day she offered us drop off to the start of the island track- but it was bad weather so that didn’t happend. We had shared breakfast at their house on Thursday and Sunday which was great to meet other guests. The shared breakfast was absolutely amazing- everything you can think of was there- cheese, ham, little sausages, fruits, vegetables, fresh coconut, cereals..Other days Odette always brought us something in the morning- fresh croissants (never had better one that the one with almonds), bagels, eggs as we could make our own breakfast. They have bikes and even scooter which you can rent (for $15 per day!), I saw they have some snorkeling equipment and reef shoes as well. All property is very well maintained, safe and beautiful. It is 3 minutes walk to the closest shop and burger place which was very good! Close to the Muri beach, you can just catch the bus on the main road or even walk if you feel like it.

I loved staying at Joe and Odette’s place. You’re surrounded by greenery and can hear the ocean in the background, it’s a little slice of heaven. Wonderful communal breakfast a few times a week. Easy to get to beach, and a great burger spot and grocery store nearby. Highly recommend!

Jo and Odette are 2 amazing hosts They thought of everything and were on hadn't for any questions or needs that we had They did an exceptional breakfast every other morning on their veranda with all the other guests which was a great way of getting to know other people and share stories. Jo has a moped hw rents to guests for far cheaper than any other place on the island which was so handy and much appreciated! The room was huge and very clean - bonus that we were able to pick the most delicious passionfruits from just outside our veranda to eat when we pleased. I can't recommend staying here enough, thank you again so much!

Nothing really. The shower was a little for two big island boys, but we compromised by using the outside showers.

Friendly hosts. We met other friendly guests from other countries. Good breakfast everyday. Clean facilities and convenient store just down the road. A 5-10 minute walk to Muri beach or a minute drive. Plenty of shops down the road.

Lovely, peaceful and private location close to everything. The grocery store is less than a five minute walk, the best swimming beach at Muri is a 2km walk or a very short bus trip. Odette is welcoming and very helpful and knowledgeable which was much appreciated.

Excellent accomodation, hosts taken care of my stay in details. Tasty breakfasts, good talks, I could feel like at home:) the house was very clean, I could find there everything I needed. Also company of animals (cats, chickens, sometimes a cute pig) was wonderful:D

We loved everything about Rarotonga. Due to some circumstances our hosts needed to arrange a different location for us, which we loved very much. It was right outside the ocean, had a lot of coconut palms and papaja trees. It was very well equipped, there was no neighbourhs nearby and was extremely peaceful. Our hosts were awesome. They were ready to assist us with literally anything we needed, and we felt that they care about us.
