Breakfast variety could be better. General city problem is that the buses are available only till 6PM.

Although it is at the edge of the city the location is very good. Hotel has plenty of parking spaces and there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel. The city offers free tickets to commute in the area. You can use them to get as far as Meiringen. The valley surrounding the hotel is stunning and a few nice hikes start here. The rooms are nice and in the "swiss village" style.

Although the hotel is a little far from the train station, the bus is convenient and I enjoy the quiet time with the nature there. There are hiking trails nearby and you could always enjoy a leisure walk after the dinner

Beautiful and peaceful place for my family ( 2 adults and 2 kids). We stayed there for 4 days and we wish we stayed more. The location is isolated from the Grindelwald village in a peaceful area where many people come to park at the hotel to go hiking, walking or biking. 20th of April we found snow within walking distance. The hotel provides free bus tickets where you can go multiple times to Grindelwald. Or you can walk for 25min. The family that runs the place is very accommodating and friendly. I recommend renting a car and exploring Grindelwald, Interlaken and the nearby areas while staying in this awesome accommodation. Definitely coming back.

I made a reservation at this hotel for a weekend skiing but unfortunately, we had to cancel because my son got hurt during the skiing. We actually already came to the hotel but we had to leave after as we need to take our son to a hospital and the hotel staff are very helpful and friendly and they didn't charge us. That's a very nice gesture on their behalf and I am very thankful for their kindness and understanding. Definitely, we will come back for the next ski season and we highly recommend the hotel as the staffs are wonderful. Vielen dank!

Everything in this place was amazing! from the room, the stunning location and the gorgeous views to the awesome staff at Hotel Wetterhorn and most of all, good good food at the restaurant. Highly recommend this place if you want to visit Grindelwald.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. They charge five-star prices but provide hostel-level service. Here is a list of the issues I encountered: -Rude Staff: The lady at the reception was especially rude. -Inaccessible Rooms: There are numerous stairs to reach the family rooms, and no assistance is provided. When my family struggled with our bags, the receptionist joked about it being good exercise. -Terrible Breakfast: The breakfast consisted of just bread and yogurt, and the area was infested with flies.(photo attached) -No Room Phone: There’s no phone in the room, and if you need help, you have to go down (no elevator) to find an often unattended reception. -Unpleasant Smell: The toilets had a stinking smell and only a sliding glass door without a lock. -No Air Conditioning: With no air conditioning, opening the window lets in flies. -Hidden Charges: Despite showing ‘price includes all taxes and charges’ on Booking.com, they still charged extra for tax. -Unsafe Room Layout: The family room has two beds on separate floors connected by steep, dangerous internal stairs, unsuitable for families with children

There wasn’t much space to spend time in the evenings. A small ‘kitchen’ with a microwave and a fridge, but the two chairs were usually used. The terrace was amazing but also I needed to work a bit in the evening and for that it wasn’t ideal.

The shower in the eight-person dormitory is completely unuseable. If you want to get burned or burn your skin until it is red and swollen, you can try it；）

The location is far from the first cliff and the reception will be off work after 9:00 p.m. But they will provide a bus ticket from the railway station to the hostel.

Just thought the cost was high in relation to the amenities. Everything was clean but very basic. The view out our window overlooked a patio that was a place for the staff to sit and smoke (kind of junky chairs, etc). Lighting in the room was dim. We weren't there for skiing, etc., just a stopover for going to Jungfrau. Maybe someone staying to ski would have been very happy with the room and maybe the price was higher because of the beautiful location. Also, we had dinner at the restaurant and there were a lot of flies (we learned there aren't typically screens on the windows so not sure what could be done, but it was just annoying while eating).

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel was GORGEOUS. It is located on the outskirts of Grindelwald which we loved because Grindelwald itself was pretty hectic. We didn't have time to hike much but it looked like great hiking all around. It was only a 15 minute drive to the train station.

The price is very very expensive, for two nights we paid EUR 789,66 .. doesn't make any sense .. too expensive to stay for two nights. not worth.. will not stay here again or recommend at all .. the breakfast was very poor even boil eggs we received on request ..
