We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

NetherlandsCommunications were difficult and owners may look grouchy but they were really very kind to me--gave me instructions, helped me with electrical sockets with an adapter.
Bruno, the owner, is a great baker. The breads and pies were so delicious that I kept eating though I don't like bread that much.

United States of AmericaOverall I really enjoyed my stay and would stay again. It was outdated and had a bare-bones towel in the small bath, but for the price well worth it. I recommend bringing a towel and soap/shampoo with you and then all is fine. The only negative aspect of my stay was NO WIFI! There seemed to be limited wi-fi everywhere around Interlaken (I found a cafe/bar to eat at to hop online and communicate with family). I didn't realize there was no wi-fi when I booked...not sure if it would have changed my decision. But all in all this was a great stay in a gorgeous location. Barely a block away from Brienzersee!
Wonderful location with free parking. The room was large with a comfortable bed and a balcony I spent a lot of time on. The owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. My activity schedule meant I only had breakfast there one day but I enjoyed it just fine - all the necessities for a European breakfast. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe. Overall an excellent stay for the price!

Finlandok - its not new but if you want to park free - eat good breakfast and save some money - this is your hotel near Interlaken
very nice price-value hotel. Good breakfast in the restaurant attached to the Hotel. The view is very nice from the own big balcony.

NetherlandsI swear to god everything that I’m saying is true First of all there are really full of discrimination specially the old man …I swear to god the old man is full of discrimination…I will tell you the what happened since I came in ..there was a lady I guess she is his daughter she is nice but I just saw her at the check in only then the whole time this old man was in front of me every time.. the old man I went to him to ask for a spoon and a glass then he said a sentence in there language I swear to god it was racist because he shouted very loudly..the second day I went for breakfast that they are calling it an open buffet … they just have very very few things and it’s not even worth it and fly’s was over it I will share it with you because I took pictures.. let me come back to the old man I asked for more Carstens and there were only two and I asked him for more he shouted at my face go back to your place and I said do you want coffee or tea I said later I will drink a cup of coffee he replied back to me in a very shouting voice take it now or you will not get it…I started arguing with him I told him you are not a good man he replied back to me what do you think am I racist? I said everything is clear in your eyes. I guess I said so much but really many things happened in that place I swear to god it’s the worst hotel I’ve ever entered in my life…the Room is like it’s full of fleas the towels are not good …
Seriously to be honest the only thing I liked is the location

I had a great stay at Hotel Walida. Since my arrival. I arrived about 3 hours before the checkin, my idea was just to leave my bag, but the girl was very kind and released my room before the scheduled time. The room very comfortable, clean and had a balcony overlooking mountains. The hotel is super well located, just 2 minutes from Lake Brienz, the bus stop p Interlaken super easy, in 10 minutes You get there. The location is perfect and everything beautiful around. The wonderful breakfast, had even homemade jam. It was all perfect. Super recommend and intend to return.

CanadaOld grumpy couple run the place. The whole place creeks when you walk. The lights upstairs don’t work so you have to manage to open your room with keys without any light. Room is small and bathrooms are very old and outdated. The breakfast is not fresh bread, and there were lots of flies on the breakfast food.

United States of AmericaThe comments about the owner are correct. He is a bit grumpy, but since I only spoke with him at check-in and check-out it was fine. Also, the view from the balcony is of the mountains, it’s not a lakeside view. That being said, it’s a 1 min walk to the lake.
