Nothing, everything was perfect.

Everything! This place is absolutely exceptional in every respect. From the amazing greeting, wonderful fragrance, the best view of any lake hotel I’ve been to and the room… totally amazing. We were here for our honeymoon and will definitely return! The food was also exceptional.

Great view of the hotel garden, city, lake and mountains- all in one. Extremely helpful and very kind hotel personnel, excellent hotel restaurant! Breakfast and dinner really tasty and well presented dishes, amazing taste! Highly enjoyed breakfast and drinks on terraces with such beautiful views. We appreciated the large room and bathroom, well designed and extremely clean. Bedding was comfortably large with medium-hard mattresses. Hotel is 3 stops by historic funicular railway making trip from city center to hotel charming and effortless.

Friendly welcome with Champagne on the Terrace - Charming and modern Suite 111 with all necessary amenities - Tasty breakfast - Great SPA treatment and time at the pool - 15 GM Chef at the Restaurant who serves you modern Italian cuisine - all that with a dedicated and attentive staff. We will come back!

I dont like possibility to other people can smoke in terrace in area where everybody eat in dinner or breakfast,this moement really disturbing very nice and kind atmosphere in hotel.I think breakfast in this kind of hotels can have more variety of meals and fruits and youghurts and rest.Which I see in rest of 5 star hotels.

Wow! Such a gem! A truly amazing hotel, everything is perfect (location, rooms, hotel staff, food) and all the people so nice! We had an amazing time, they have a great pool and an amazing garden, the restaurant is stunning! Only words of praise, we had an amazing time!

Room Service Menu is limited (both the 24 hrs and the regular menu).

An all round extremely top level hotel! The staff by far makes the difference and the facilities are fantastic ( pool, gym, spa, etc!). Big shout out to Leo! always making our sunny summer afternoons by the pool very homely!

Breakfast only until 11 h. Noisy - you hear the whole city day and night. The walls was dusty with some spiders and spins. The smells from the kitchen. The terrace wasn't cleaned in 10 Days. The sun beds overlays on the terrace was dirty. Minibar isn't included in the costs - unusual in this level. What ist a smoothie? (a healthy and tasty one) This is unfortunately not known. We ordered 2 without ice. We got two watery 'something' á 200 ml wit 3!!! huge ice cubes for 40.- Franks plus 6 Franks for room service - witch would be OK, if we would have got some really good stuff. It was not enjoyable, not tasty and not worth. Pool closed 7:30 pm. I love to swim in the evening - no chance.

Great team, very friendly, uncomplicated and flexible. THANK YOU They have different mattresses. After we asked for an other one and for a topper - we could sleep well without back pain. Great view, nice kitchen, clean and lovely caring. later checkout was possible and it was relaxing. Thank you for made it possible even by full house. we got a massage table provided in our suite. Great spa, massage and facial treatment.

- Some of the waiters were really unfriendly and unattentive. One night we waited for 15 minutes for a check, and finally had to basically chaise one. Ridiculous. Waitresses were much more nice and welcoming, but still our breakfasts orders got mixed up constantly. - Menu is the same every day. If you are not into eggs on mornings, you are screwed.

- Awesome location to explore Ticino with a great view on lake Maggiore. - Quite, good sound insulation. We stayed during the Locarno film festival, and despite the pretty intensive nightlife, it didn't bother us. - Cleanliness
