Nothing. The area was peaceful, although close enough to the centre of town.

We loved our stay here. Our room had a large balcony, with a view down to the lake. Breakfast was very good - plenty of choice. Our host was easily contactable, and friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. There is a bus stop right outside the property if you didn't want to walk up the short hill, but we mostly walked.

Every aspect of our stay was excellent: the cozy atmosphere, the well-sized room with plenty of sunlight, the breathtaking view of the lake, the delicious breakfast, and the convenient location. But the best of all was the host, Andrea, the nicest person we met in over a year of living in Switzerland. He went out of his way to make the one night we spent in Locarno memorable, even showing us around on his tuk-tuk and dropping us off at the train station at the end of our stay.

Andrea was such a fantastic and welcoming host! So kind and friendly, he truly made the one night we spent there memorable! The check in and check out process was very easy and the breakfast was just perfect on the outside terrace in the sun! He upgraded us to a beautiful room facing the lake. The common areas are so well thought out and the boutique hotel has a very relaxed vibe, which we loved! Highly recommend this place for singles, couples or families!

The Familysuite with two rooms and a seperate access from the gardens has a beautiful view of the lush green garden with multible sitting areas. It was furnished tastefully, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom had an amazing rainwater shower. Andrea, the manager, was very friendly and the breakfast absolutely worth it. We felt very welcome and would absolutely recommend staying in this beautyful hotel.

My room was a bit small, it wasn't comfortable to move around while having my luggage in the room. I understand from Andrea that each room is unique and of different sizes, mine it seems was on the smaller side.

I loved the house. Having breakfast on the terrace while facing the garden and the overall décor of the villa. It really felt like being at home. It's a lovely place to come back to and relax. The option to rent e-bikes at the villa made it a lot easier and fun to get around!

Technical solution for check in was not good. QR code scanner gives no feedback ... e.g. position of code, or successful scan yes or no. In addition main door lacks label whether door must be pushed or pulled. So worst case you stand in front of the QR scanner and try to push a pull door. Very loud, the street in front of the hotel was very loud through the whole night. Room is very small, ca. 10m2. Mattress too soft for my back. Overall, a bit overpriced for the value you get.
