Staff did not speak any English, which is not the end of the world but was under the impression that English was one of the languages spoken at this hotel and it was not.

So lovely and pretty, and got given a lovely room with a balcony.

The walls between rooms are a bit thin so I could hear the people next door snoring.

Comfortable room and location, only 5 minutes form the station. The breakfast was great with lots of homemade food made with ingredients coming from the local area.

The staff was super nice, the location was really good, whithin walking distance of everything. Their restaurant was pretty good.

Most service staff here do not speak English so communication was a problem. Staff on breakfast duty seemed rather surly on both mornings, which did not make for a good start to the day... Could be due to language barrier, will probably have a more pleasant experience if you speak Italian or German. 😉

Hotel in central location close to most attractions in town and train station is just a short walk away, thus a good base from which you can explore Val Poschiavo with ease. Had a complimentary room upgrade to a much nicer room with splendid mountain views. 😍 Room was spacious and clean, especially liked having a Balcony and also Kettle to make tea. Hotel has a Lift so didn't have to lug heavy bags up & down the stairs. Able to stow luggage at Reception after Check-Out which was much appreciated. 😊

The bathroom has a loud sound when i turn on the bathroom light, i believe it is a loud sound due to the exhaust fan in the toilet. I was tired and did not want to request for room change, so i quickly wash up and off the lights and get out of the toilet/bathroom. I think this should have been fixed before any guests discover. I am sure the cleaners of the room should know it already before my check in. In addition, the toilet bathroom is way too small, shower cube is unbelievably small. The bed mattress and pillow wasn't comfy to, too soft, no support. And there is no slippers provided.

Breakfast is very sumptious and hotel staff service were great. Location is great too and i did not hear any noise. Their restaurant which is in the opposite street is fantastic for the dinner. Very delicious food. I do wish to have a bigger bathroom as shower cube is so tiny and insufficiently light in the bathroom.

I didn’t like that they don’t offer service room. We were quite tired and didn’t feel like going out on a Sunday night to eat, so we went to the reception and they told us we should have booked our meal by the time of our booking and I guess I haven’t seen it, only the breakfast meal option. Anyways, I understand it is complicated to have the kitchen open on a Sunday night and out of skiing season so it’s alright, we totally understood, but it would be nice to have a few quick dishes like a soup or something that the staff can prepare easily and send to the room of the very tired travelers 😅

I loved the view, the shower, the bed and pillow. The room decoration was really the coziest one!! The location was also great!

Dinner in the restaurant was not great and to us CHF 8 for a bottle of water was excessive to say the least.

The young Italian receptionist was excellent. Very helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome. The hotel was comfortable and we enjoyed our short stay.

The bed was not a double bed and their frame made the distance between them „substantial“. But apart from this small shortcoming, we can’t complain about anything.

The room was cozy and the restaurant / bar downstairs provided for every culinary need we could have had. The staff was very nice and helpful as well. For any future visit to this area, we will keep this hotel in mind.
