We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandExcellent breakfast, served on the table. Received complementary coffee on arrival. Very friendly staff. Good WIFI. No TVs in the room. Lots of parking space. Very clean. Nice decoration inside, the hotel lobby has a beautiful curvy staircase and marble floors. Excellent area for hiking, climbing and ski touring away from the mass tourism of Chamonix.

SwitzerlandIt was our third time returning to this wonderful hotel and for sure it won’t be our last: the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean and cozy, the food in the hotel restaurant is prepared with lots of love and attention to detail and is super delicious. The beautiful wild nature just a 5 minute walk away from the hotel round up the whole experience. All in all, a fantastic stay, as always.

United StatesThe road is relatively noisy if you like to sleep with open windows, but at night the traffic is almost non existent. Had difficulty to check in at 5PM. Nobody at the reception, just a message to call a number. I did call the number but nobody answered the phone. After 20 minutes someone finally came in when I realized that she was by herself and doing reception/restaurant and probably other chores.
Good value for the price. Simple room with good comfort. The hotel was super clean and so was my room which ample supply of soap and shampoo.

Recently renovated, looks even better than it was “already perfect” before))) We simply felt like home there☺️Also, one of the most beautiful regions to visit. The area is full of attractions - waterfalls, lakes, green and rocky mountains, and even a mysterious dinosaur track is located higher up near the lake Emosson. We will definitely come again! The staff are very nice and helpful. The hotel lobby is very nicely decorated and clean, I especially liked the fireplace. The style of my room reflects the 70's with carpet on the walls combined with wood. For me this was not surprising because before booking the room I looked at all the pictures of the place. The size of the bathroom is not very big but it has everything you need. (toilet, shower, hand wash). Completely free and fast internet access. The welcome drink was a complete surprise I was not expecting it. The owner showed me the renovated rooms that are ready and I have to say that the hotel is going to undergo a huge change. The hotel also has a restaurant which is a true reflection of the old times. I tried the homemade burger and it was one of the best I have ever had. I was totally impressed with their varied menu. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to try the two beautiful terraces due to bad weather, but next time. Anyone booking a stay at this hotel should be aware that it is a small 2 star family hotel and no one should expect 5 star service. Value for money is fantastic. I will be sure to return here.

NetherlandsThe room and especially the shower were a bit small. The bed mattress was too soft for my taste and the switches didn't work (the 2 lamps had to be unplugged to turn them off).
It has all the basics that you can ask of a hotel in that setting, allowing for a restful night. The room was warm, clean, and comfortable. The hotel manager was very welcoming and attentive. The restaurant downstairs provided a tasty dinner (a bit pricy) and breakfast.
