I stayed with my spouse and two kids for five days. We had what we needed for our holidays. We traveled with the bus and train to Klosters and Davos which are closed to the place.

The hosts were very nice and opened. They kindly helped us with a plug adapter.

Grumpy and uncommunicative host. We asked for the remote for the big tv, and we got a shrug and a grunt. We felt as if the hosts didnt actually want us there.

Fridge not very good, small and not cold. Parking charge was a bit expensive for a very tiny village 9 CHF/night.

There we quite some mosquitos and flies. Also, the bathroom had no windows nor ventilation. Finally, there was no kitchen.

The beds were incredible and the view of the Alps as well. Moreover, as this appartment is located in a small village, it was always calm in and around the appartment. Also, the hosts gladly helped us with everything we needed. And, Switzerland is an expensive country, so the price of this appartment was very much worth it.

Since there was a kettle in the room, there should have been cups too. The location was further from Susch than we expected but OK.

there are not much food options around you if you reach there after 20:00 Uhr. so make sure you have alternative food options if you are arriving late night.

The design of the room can be updated.

A spacious room and a view that is difficult to describe. The morning conditions are comfortable and the temperature is suitable. A strategic location for those wanting to sit around the Davos area.

- We paid an extra 28 euros to have an extra guest stay with us. But when we requested an extra bed they said they would only provide a mattress and that a full portable bed would cost extra. The mattress provided was a "fold-up" foam mattress. - Parking also costs extra (10CHF per night) even though it is on the land above the rooms and 80% of the spaces were empty. - Fridge had mould in it. - A kettle was provided but no cups or coffee/tea - luckily we carry our own cups and coffee otherwise the kettle in the room would be pointless (as the guests in the room next to us pointed out).

We did not get a response to 2 messages we sent before our stay, inquiring about possibility to eat, and their accepted payment types. There is some confusion with the old sign outside (Old Jnn): looking for online reviews results in reviews from the old owners, when it used to be an inn with possibilities to eat there, so this information is no longer valid. It would be good to have pictures of the other room types. There was a construction site right next door that started working at 7am on the weekdays, but the sound was not too intrusive, and we were already awake by then, plus the region is too beautifull to stay in the hotel for long, so no problem there. At the current state we would not pay the fully advertised price for a single night (about 300 EUR). There is still some work to do to get it up to standards. But think the price reduction we got more than makes up for all of those things that can be considered a "work in progress".

Considering the heavily reduced price (less than 100 EUR a night for a family of 4) in the high season, the stay was great value for money. Other hotels were easily 100 to 300 (!!) EUR more expensive per night. The view on the mountain is gorgeous! The sound of the waterfall, calming. The old style of the furniture has its charms. The mini fridge on our room for cooling our food was very welcome. The personnel is friendly. Checkout is easy. The new owners are working to improve the hotel. Information and other small things from other reviews I read, have been corrected (parking price is included now, tourist tax (legally obligated tax I want to add) are charged in advance so there is no surprise upon arrival, there's a small waste bin available now in the rooms, etc). Nice to see these improvements, and it shows the positive intent of the owners. Even though the pictures were different than the room we got (pictures show a single large room), we appreciated having a spaceous accomodation: separate entry hall and 2 separate bedrooms. The overall experience was good. I think we got better than we had to pay for and we would hapilly go again, if it were the same pricing.

- Upon check-in, they asked for a "city tax", which was not indicated, and according to other accommodation owners, such a tax does not exist in Switzerland. It would be better to state this transparently, because even with this, we would have chosen this accommodation, but it was unexpected and trust-reducing. - The name of the accommodation was not written on the house, there was no photo of the outside of the house, and the map did not show the location well (but it is now fixed), and the host was not available for a while when we were looking for the house, and he did not call back. In the end, we reached him and he send us the right location, but for help: the accommodation can be found on the Google map under the name "Hotel Old-Jnn" (it used to operate under this name, but it was closed due to Covid and now reopened with a new owner, with lower quality), and have a "Restaurant Calanda" table on it. - We didn't mind that the furniture was very eclectic and the used sofa was placed on the balcony, but I don't recommend it to those who want to choose a new and elegant place ;-)

- amazing view from the huge balcony - silence and peace: only birds chirping and the sound of the waterfall opposite the house can be heard - we asked for two rooms and got a large apartment with a huge living room and dining area included - many cupboards, tables, built-in wardrobes, there was place for everything - spotless cleanliness - fantastically comfortable beds - the staff is very helpful

The room was very cold. The heater did not work. The staff was very impolite and we have bad experience with them. We asked from one of them about loundry and he told ok, but after we use the washing mashin, other staff put our clothes in the basket and lock the door.😔

The owner is really kind and helpful, he upgraded us to a bigger 2-room apartment. The view from the balcony is amazing. Highly recommend to couples and families too.
