As a dog owner, I always greatly appreciate it when my pet is accepted in the hotel, and that alone makes us very happy. In this particular case, the room was very spacious and the terrace area with a view of the lake and immaculate lawn made our afternoon coffee feel like we were in paradise. Seeing my little dog relaxed on the grass was a gift. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Everything was very clean.

I would prefer to see the lake during breakfast, but they use the good-view restaurant area only for dinner. That does not make sense because when it is dark we don't see the lake anyway. They should organize breakfast in the lake view area.

Simple, clean and comfortable room with small terrace and great view of Lake Thun. Friendly staff and easy parking, restaurant on site. The hotel is between the railway line and a local road but we weren’t bothered by the noise. We‘ll stay there again!

A fridge in the room would have been appreciated. The price felt a bit on the higher side, but then again, it's Switzerland.

The location is quite nice, especially with the lake view from the balcony. It's convenient to have parking, and being near Interlaken is a plus.

There's a few things where the hotel does show that it's cutting on cost, not always at the right place maybe. Free bottled water is offered on the room, and Lidl's private label water brand is certainly as good to drink here as it is at home, but it gives a weird feeling if its presented so openly in your face. At breakfast, "family savings price" on the bottle gives the same vibe, and the presentation of the breakfast menu looks on the budget side as well. (Recommendation: Use a different blanket for the buffet. Offer warm eggs instead of cold hard-boiled eggs. Serve the melon in slices. Use more natural materials as food containers.) The lights are very, very white and a more yellowish bulb might be more calming and help sensitive people fall asleep better. The night entrance into the hotel runs past the garbage bins and some other semi-messy stuff, because the room key doesn't open the main door. And the general hallway of the souterrain rooms has a basement smell. (The room itself didn't smell bad!)

The room was very clean, including the old bathroom tiles. My mother thought they were new because of their cleanliness. The hotel was easy to access by car and public transport and the view from the terrace of the room was awesome. The staff was very friendly - absolutely and genuinely helpful. I appreciate the functional fan and the quality of the toilet paper - many hotels that try to cut expenses do that here. The room rates are fine for this area and the view, though I wonder if 5-10 CHF more would allow for a few upgrades that bring the hotel back into the future.

There are bees and mosquitoes inside the room because the property is surrounded by green grass.

The location is bit seperate from the main street and Interlaken area, but buses operate every 1-2 hr so you can manage. The view is pleasant and its quite peaceful.

We liked the Hotels distance from Interlaken as we dont like being in a city and the resturant was great good food etc.
