We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

RomaniaThere were minor defects in the room (bathroom sliding door not staying closed, hole in sheets - nothing major to have to change the room, but somehow lowering the brand expectations), but I'm assuming for a one night stay we didn't get the usual RadisonBlu standard like in the other cities, One thing I would improve though: when we came back to pick up the luggage (for which we are grateful that we were able to leave it with the hotel after our check-out), the clerk there had us wait in line and when several people take 10 minutes for the check-in procedure, it feels unnecessary to have to wait 20 minutes for a 10 seconds action. I think the people that were checking in, wouldn't have minded to wait another 10 seconds until the clerk gives us our luggage from the cloak room.
The location was good and I liked the pool as it has a decent size. I'm still not used to the "forced completely naked sauna culture" there, so I couldn't enjoy that part of the spa center. For my taste the water in the pool could be warmer.

United Kingdom1. I had a booking for a single person for 4 nights then a second booking for two people for 3 nights. I stayed in the same room. This was in fact not suitable for 2 people (cramped and no privacy for bathroom), and the staff should have pointed it out. it was cramped. The room service staff did not properly re-set the room (no water for example) and just treated it as one booking. 2. Something is wrong with your email system. There were far too many emails repeating the same thing. Even on the day of departure I received emails welcoming me to the hotel! 3. The check in with computers in the foyer is not a good development. It is convenient for you and saves you money. It was clunky and took too much of my time when I had arrived after a long journey. Not a good start to the stay. 4. The restaurant was disappointing. Expensive, lacking in atmosphere and staffed by inexperienced people.

United States of AmericaI'm adding this bit up front so it gets some attention. After finally getting into our room and relaxing on the bed, our door opened. It was another customer who had been given the same room number as ours. They quickly apologized and that was it. Shortly after, a member of the staff knocked on our door to confirm what had happened. They apologized, and that was that. A bit concerning though. Although they guaranteed the room to be ready by 3pm, we arrived about 1pm and were told to check back about 2:30p. By 2:50p it was still not ready, but waiting for inspection. We entered our room just after 3pm and everything seemed to be in good shape. We had a knock on the door by the room supervisor asking if everything was ok.
The room was very nice, about the size you would expect from a modern chain. Plenty of plug-ins, which can be a challenge sometimes. We stayed one night and left early, so didn't have breakfast. The location was perfect for our needs. We were able to walk to all the Fest activities throughout old town, within 15 min from the Hotel.

The reception staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was good. Walking distance to a range of restaurants, but the hotel is on a busy street with no views.

United KingdomHotel seemed understaffed - we were asked to do self check-in as there was not enough staff but when we did get help staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping could have been better as there were a pair of socks left in the drawers when we checked in.
Hotel is in a great location. Close to city centre, Basel train station and Christmas markets. Walking distance to most places and hotel also provides travel card so you can save on public transport.

CanadaLack of True Air Conditioning, basically the air conditioning unit acts as a fan. It was a heat wave during my stay, so was not sufficient. Not the fault of the Hotel, its a Swiss Environmental law.
Great facilities in a perfect location. Close to train and bordering the Old Town. Lots of restaurants in the area. They also had a great work out room and a large pool and Sauna.

Took such a longtime for a carafe of water to reach our table at dinner - after the alcoholic drinks had been brought, and after a reminder - that in the end I had to go back up to our room to fetch my own water bottle. I can see you might be short staffed on a Sunday evening. Food OK, but a disappointingly limited menu, and no local wines - compared unfavourably to the excellent food we had in other Swiss hotels we stayed at that week.
