Highly recommend would definitely stay here again Warm welcoming staff. Location excellent bus outside door. 5 min to centre. 8 min to train. Rooms spacious modern functional clean and comfortable. Good sound isolation. Comfy bed and linens. Good quiet nights sleep. Free drink on terrace with great seating and views.

It was a drag that,due to religious holiday, a lot of things in Bern were closed (including supermarket downstairs) but that's certainly not the fault of Prizeotel

Once we got the public transit figured out we were really happy with the location. Even the bus to hotel being rerouted one day due to marathon was an opportunity to discover other neighborhoods we wouldn't have seen otherwise (every cloud has a silver lining :D ) Also, most of the personnel was really nice (esp breakfast buffet and rooftop bar feller, who deserve alll the stars!)

Spacious modern looking hotel. Room is spacious with good lightings. There is a grocery store next to the hotel. Hotel uses human sensor to turn the lobby and corridor lights on and off, energy saving.

No mini fridge, no kettle and so on, they should be regular in every hotel. Cleaning. This hotel needs a deep cleaning, starting from the carpets, walls, halls and even parking lot. You could wipe the decorative panel above your bed with your finger and gather a lot of dust. And they will only clean your room if you stay more than 3nights. That was a deal breaker for me.

Super location, room was large and minimalistic design is a thing I appreciate, rooftop bar was excellent and the two girls at the reception were very helpful and friendly.

I will tell you here about the "little things" that I mentioned above. There were no glasses in our room, not even paper or plastic ones. Of the two tall windows, one had no curtains - it was impossible to protect oneself from the sun, which rises very early in summer. Finally, the most important thing: the room was equipped with electrical outlets, but absolutely all of them were "iPhone-format" - for a small narrow electric plug. I couldn't charge my laptop. The front desk said that they had distributed all the adapters to other guests and could not help. I strongly advise the hotel owners to correct these - and similar - omissions. It's a sad when you have to lower the overall score due to flaws that would be very easy to fix, and it would not require large financial investments.

The hotel is strange: there is interesting design in the rooms and in the lobby, the location is convenient, the staff is quite qualified, plumbing and electrical appliances are in good condition, wide corridors, spacious rooms. At first glance, everything is fine, but there are little things that greatly spoil the overall impression.

The decor of this hotel is quite quirky. We were there for 2 nights and our room did not get even basic housekeeping.

The location of this hotel is the only reason I would recommend this hotel. Very conveniently located with a few minutes walk from the old town, bear pit and the Rose garden which has amazing views of the city and the river. Coop department store is located next door which is convenient. Don't expect much in terms of service as our room did not even get basic cleaning like emptying the trash can or refilling of soap / shampoo etc. We had to walk down to reception to get a soap shampoo refill. But if you are looking for a hotel with good location then you can surely consider it.

What we didn’t like was the front office staff. Both girls weren’t very welcoming, providing only short answers to our questions. The approach was a bit cold.

The property was well located, very close to the bus station making it convinient to move around the city even late at night. The room was clean and had the main facilities.

Good price and not far from the center of Bern. Easy to walk or to get the bus located right outside. Also located next to the Rosengarten which has great views of the city.
