The bathroom was very small and we did miss a lift.

We thought the location of this hotel was excellent. It was a 6 minute stroll from the main town centre in a lovely, yet quieter area. Close to some very good restaurants, a grocery store and a chemist. The breakfast offered a good choice of hot and cold dishes. The lounge/dining room had a lovely fireplace.

We didn't mind it but I'm not sure if the hotel had an elevator. Those who pack their giant bags might not appreciate that.

We chose Post Hardermmannli because of it’s location. It’s in the beautiful section of Interlaken called Unterseen and a 10 min walk from the train station. What we didn’t know was the incredible view from our room. The staff spoke English very well, were extremely friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants, and sight seeing. Don’t miss out on Lauterbrunnen, our hike above it was the highlight of the trip. Our room was super clean and a good size including a balcony with table and chairs to enjoy our view and the hang gliders went right over us from the mountains! The daily breakfast included not only the traditional meats and cheeses but eggs made to order. With the free transportation card provided you can utilize the bus system to see all of Interlaken and the main station is a 10 min walk. There’s also a grocery store close by. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Very nice, comfortable and friendly hotel. Well positioned in easy walking distance of shops, bars and train station (interlarken west). Complimentary local transport and good local knowledge of the attractions.

It was a lovely hotel. Our room had a good view cause it had a balcony from which we could see the mountain. I loved the breakfast soooooo much! And the staff were very nice too.

Over all good , nothing was bad.

A little distance from Interlaken Ost railway station but made for a nice walk along the canal.

As with most of these hotels, no lift so you have to carry your luggage upstairs. Toilet is a bit small.

Rather than a double, the beds were 2 singles pushed together but these were still made up separately with separate single duvets which made it difficult to snuggle up.

The room was clean and comfortable with a good amount of space. The bathroom was in good condition and had a good shower. The downstairs lounge area was welcoming and the breakfasts were good. We were able to borrow odds and ends to have a picnic meal in our room one evening.

The hotel did not have stairs..I came with an infant and a lift in the hotel would have made it much easier for me to take my stroller in the room.

First of all,the location of the hotel was quite nice..it is just a few steps from Interlarken West station.. I was so pleased by the hospitality shown by one of the staff Elisa(Don't remember her name properly, but her home country was Portugal :) ) And fire place in the hall was the highlight of the place,giving it a complete vintage and heritage look.

I could not fault anything

Lovely little hotel, in a traditional building, very conveniently located near Interlaken west train station, close to the center of town and all shops. Room was very nice and clean and we woke up every morning with the view of Jungfrau mountain, beautiful! Breakfast was very good and diverse, with fresh produce. Staff were very friendly and helpful both at reception and breakfast room. They gave us an adaptor to use as swiss plugs are different than ours, gave us advice on things to do! If you stay in the area, you get a guest travel card to use for free travel in Interlaken and nearby villages, a bonus! We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend and stay again! Thanks😍

Not much to mention here! Block-out blinds or curtains would help for a more restful sleep street-facing rooms which can be bright. The bathroom/toilet is pretty tight (we're average-sized humans, so good to keep this in mind).

The owner was so lovely and accommodating. She made us feel right at home :) We really enjoyed grabbing dinner from over the road and enjoying it in front of the fireplace in the cosy living area. Breakfast was wonderful - scrambled eggs on request was a nice surprise. We slept ok despite the curtains not being block-out (bring an eye-shade if you're sensitive to that kind of thing). Enjoying coffee on the balcony overlooking the street with mountains in the background was delightful. Overall loved the vibe of the property and kindness of the staff and would return.

The location is perfect. The hotel is situated close to Interlaken West. There are also restaurants and supermarket nearby. The staff were nice and friendly. They also made arrangements for late check in. Highly recommended!

We were upgraded to a room with a balcony which was lovely but it didn’t have external blinds so it was a bit light inside. Very small thing!

Kim was amazing- she offered to keep reception open late if our arrival train was delayed, she helped to dry our ski boots and had great local recommendations. Good breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Easy walk from the train station.
