Expensive (probably on par with other Swiss accommodation. The staff are not rude but certainly abrupt. Your bags (before and after checkin) are just put in the lobby / side restaurant. There is no kitchenette, no microwave, no fridge so you are almost forced to eat out or buy premade meals from the supermarket (which are both still very expensive options in Switzerland). Plugs in the room were broken from previous tourists shoving European plugs into the smaller Swiss plugs. Breakfast is not until 7.30-9.30, and hence if you want to leave early or sleep in, you cannot as you will miss breakfast.

Good location. Rooms acceptable (not brand new but clearly well kept). Very clean interior. Restaurant attached has good food for reasonable price.

I booked a family room with one queen size bed and a bunk bed for people of 4. However the bunk beds are only for kids since they are weak.

Prime location in the city and close to the attractions. Parking facilities and communication with the staffs.

The room is very small and insulation wasn’t good. I can heard people above me walking around clearly.

The location was perfect. Close to the railway station and the water falls. It is also surrounded with beautiful mountain ranges and hiking trails. Waterfall can be seeing from the hotel window.

No tea/coffee or hot water is provided in the room. Sometimes you want a glass of warm tea on a Sunday after hiking/skiing.....

The family room's balcony can see a bit of the waterfall—that was super nice in the evening with the lights! Breakfast was the usual thing. I like the fresh croissant and chocolate milk, with good variety! Be mindful that the reception closes at 10 p.m. on Sundays! We arrived at just 9:45 p.m. You have to pay for the parking there.

Buffet hours for breakfast were open only for two hours, ending at 9.30 am. It is tough to do this early breakfast when you're on a holiday. Breakfast buffet had too less options and no hot food items. No English channels on room TV. Balcony was shared with side rooms. Would have been better to have shutters.

The hotel staff were helpful and constantly stayed in touch to enable a smooth checkin process.

No coffee, tea or kettle in the room. No lift in the building, but the climb upto the 3rd floor was not very strenuous. Continental breakfast was okay. Croissants were not very tasty but the coffee was good.

Beautiful views of the waterfall and mountains from the window and balcony. Very convenient location with restaurant just downstairs.

Free car parking lot was not available(as per hotel discription), but I purposely asked this point in my reservation message. Unfortunately, it was under contraction and nobody mentioned/warned me about it. In addition, hotel is not orginise or reimburst public parking. Nearest hotels were not full during my stay and surely could rent out/offer a couple of theirs slots to the hotel

The bed was too short for me, and I am only 5'9". There are boards at each end, so sleeping was uncomfortable.

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotels location is very good, near the train station and the Lauterbrunnen waterfall. There was discounted car parking. The room was fairly basic, but at a good price for the area. The only problem I had was the bed was too short.

The single room was TINY and not updated since the 80s. But it was clean; the sheets were perfectly white and the room had a stunning view of the waterfall. Breakfast was fine, but nothing to write home about as the only hot option were soft-cooked eggs.

Difficult to find a place to unload luggage upon arrival. No fault of the hotel though. The staff was very helpful upon checkout and showed me where I could park for a few minutes to load everything.

It was in the perfect location on the main road in Lauterbrunnen. Quaint and comfortable. It’s old but well maintained. The staff were excellent and very helpful with restaurant recommendations.
