Location was fine. Breakfast was extremely mediocre and minimal- certainly this aspect did not impress us. We like to be fed appropriately. A croissant and a cup of lukewarm coffee with a tiny plateful of yoghurt is frankly criminal.

Clearer directions on how to find the hotel would have been helpfull.

The price was really good for the location in the middle of Zurich. the rooms were small but immaculately clean and very comfortable. The best thing was the staff - really kind and helpful at check-in and when leaving early in the morning. Thank you.

A sketchy area - I wouldn’t stay with children

The proximity to the night clubs and night life area is something I would have appreciated in my early 20s but keeps me from returning nowadays.

The convenience of it being right in the center, the proximity to public transportation as well as the simple way of checking in and out was great. Also while being tiny the room had everything you'd need in a short stay.

The area was quite noisy during the night, as there are a lot of bars nearby.

The self check-in was easy to make and the apartment was close to the train station and the city center.

The location was horrible. It was very loud at night, because of the bar opposite the hotel. It was very hot in the room with no air conditioning.

There were enough towels, pretty clean bedsheets and a fridge.

I hadn't noticed they didn't have a lift when I booked. It would be useful to have a trashcan in the room. There is a gap underneath the bedroom door so you see light every time someone is in the hallway. The bathroom sink is very small, so you have to be careful or you splash water on yourself + bump your head on the vanity.

Very conveniently located for my purpose. The room was very quiet. The shower was a very good size with good water pressure. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a fan available if needed.

Tiny room with zero amenities other than (thankfully) a fan, which you have to balance on one of the beds to plug in. In the bar district, so don't count on the late night crowd letting you get any sleep before 2am. Like everything in Zurich it costs an absolute fortune, with very little to show for it, not even a single actual staff member. Oh, and the whole thing is set on top of a single, extremely narrow, staircase, so in the event of a fire I can only conclude that (in the best tradition of ambiguously European supervillains) they expect you to die.

I suppose if they were really thinking about it they could have charged us even more.

Noise from outside which can’t be helped

No lifts and my room was on 3rd floor with bags it is quite tough. They donot replenish the tea and coffee's in the room which is a slight issue. Very warm in the summer and the fan is not that great. Water is temperament goes hot and cold.

Lovely hotel in the Militaire Strasse/Langestrasse region. Self check in, no hassle hotel. I would stay again.

.. for my taste too many people smoking !! There should be space for fresh air outside on these gorgeous summer days where you have as a guest fresh air with no cigarette smoke straight in the face .

It was difficult to find the place. The building was right in front of our eyes yet we walked around in circles. Had there been a prominent sign board with the hotel name it would have been easier to spot. Instead they are keeping a small signage by the window of the cafe downstairs. Or they should either give you the name of the cafe to look for which is very prominent on the street. No lift facility in the building.

Convenient location but very noisy till late night. Walking distance to Zurich HB and bus stop is right across the street. Lots of food options right around the hotel and also they run a nice cafe downstairs. Staff were very nice and even let us check-in a couple of hours early. Baggage storage after check-out is also available for free.

The room was quite small and the bed was quite hard. It would be great if the WIFI info was provided at check-in or in the room as we had to ask for it and wait for a response.

The location was close to the train station and there were lots of restaurants there. We liked that the room was clean and there was a fan in the room too.

My room was on the last floor without elevator. So, a little hard since the receptionist wouldnt even help me carry my bagage. There was no glass door in the bathroom and a weird step that was asking for accidents. Also, there is a huge glass window in the shower and a coverage that does not cover all of it - it was a little bothersome for me.

Self check-out was very easy.
