This is a very well situated motel for a stop over. It is literally just off the main road and found easily using Google maps. We were offered an evening meal even though we arrived just as the restaurant was closing. Breakfast was very good and the price was reasonable. Staff were very helpful.

Breakfast was very average, nothing much to choose from but it was ‘included’. Nothing local nearby in terms of shops or restaurant. Walked to a nearby restaurant over a mile away and it was closed. Restaurant in the hotel only offer a set menu for guests after a certain time. It would be better in this remote location if they had a menu where people could choose since there is nowhere else to go. Felt the room was very over priced.

Perfect location for our motorbike trip to ride the high passes around Andermatt. Easy parking, clean rooms, friendly helpful staff, breakfast was reasonable & fortunate that they had the selection of food that we normally eat.

The dinner menu was limited, or at least it was at the time we went (early May) but we always found something we liked so not really a problem.

Wanted a couple of nights break on a long drive south. Chose this for convenience as very near to the motorway, but we did not notice any motorway noise. Our room was overlooking a garden and mountain behind. Staff extremely helpful - let us know about the Ticino card, which we hadn't heard about, and issued it for us. This gave us free train travel, so we used it for a one day trip to Locarno. A very good and wide-ranging breakfast.

says ‘dog friendly’ however only one staff member was actually friendly towards us with the dogs… we were threatened with being kicked out after 15 minutes of arriving due to dogs barking, they just got out the car after 24hr drive (with short stops) naturally they were excited, would expect them to be more understanding. the dogs initially only barked as staff member approached us very awkwardly as we were sat down (quietly)

Our room had heating which could not be controlled and was uncomfortably hot and stuffy. The bathroom was small with no hooks or shelves and a very cramped shower with dangerously hot water. Breakfast was OK but a bit limited. All in all, this was not good value for money. We have stayed in other Swiss motorway hotels of a far higher standard at a comparable price.

This is an old fashioned hotel in a convenient location for travelling through Switzerland. Our room was a good size. The hotel restaurant has a set evening menu of two courses for 25 swiss francs. The food was good.

Excellent location, just off the motorway and top swiss quality of the facilities. We had a quiet mountain view room with a stunning view, very comfortable bed and we really liked the breakfast too. I forgot my rings in the room and the administration contacted me and now in the process of arranging the postage. I am very grateful for professionalism and hospitality!

Where to start?! When we booked via Booking.com, we selected a room for two persons. The last option was a tripple room for two. Upon arrival at night, the receptionist remarked in a very rude manner that we had booked a room for three, but we were only two people. Mind you, that was the only option via Booking and we paid for a proper three-bedroom. Since he was obviously annoyed, we said that we would be glad to downgrade to a two-bedroom, but then he told us they were booked out. We didn’t understand his point at all. Then we tried to find a parking slot just to find out that there was none. After a while, another staff member moved his car, which was parked in front of the hotel’s backdoor and told us to just park there. It was a bad spot, but at least we were able to park there in the end. The room was very simple, the hallway run down. Breakfast was very basic with limited options and it was presented in an unhygienic way, especially considering Covid measures. When you want to use the restrooms on the ground floor where breakfast is served, you will find that the doors are locked and a bartender will tell you you have to buy a drink at the bar, so they will unlock the restroom door. Poor value for money. We suggest to find a better place.

The location is good, if you want to stay near the St. Gotthardt tunnel on the way to/from Italy.
