Nothing. Everything met or exceeded our expectations!

We had a balcony with a view of the Matterhorn, where we sat and drank coffee every morning. After hiking all over in the mountains, we returned every afternoon to enjoy the pool, sauna and hot tub. This was amazing. The staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations for eating out. And the location was perfect, really close to the Sunnegga/Rothorn gondolas, and not far from the Gornergrat train or center of town. We could not have asked for a better stay. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Difficult to find enough superlatives! The cleanliness and comfort of the room, the excellent breakfast and superb evening meal, the friendly, courteous and attentive staff, the pool. jacuzzi and sauna, the location close to Sunnegga lift - everything was perfect!

Wonderful staff complements the perfect hotel with great amenities. Everything you could want in a central location and 5 min walk to the trains. Clean, up to date, nice restaurant, pool/hot tub/sauna is awesome after skiing.

The staff was warm and friendly! They were welcoming and extremely accommodating. The location is perfectly situated close to the lifts and a 3 minute walk from the restaurants and shopping. We loved the breakfast (especially the cappuccinos), and the spa was perfect after a long day of skiing.

The hotel has the best location: 5 mins walk from the main train station, 3 mins walk to the valley station Sunnegga-Rothorn. All the ski busses stop just a few meters away from the hotel. Simply perfect! Not to forget, after skiing we could relax at the pool and the saunas… and woke up overlooking Matterhorn! What else could you wish for. And this for a great price in comparison to other stays in Zermatt. Needless to say, Gabriel who received us and was always there at the hotel is just the kindest person. Him and the whole staff are super kind and helpful…

What was not to like! The location was incredible, the staff were some of the best I have ever encountered, it was all amazing! They even went out of the way to pick us from the train station and organize an early breakfast since we were leaving early. We are definitely coming back! This hotel is a family owned and work family staffed classical Swiss hotel. It has a limited number of rooms - about 25 (?). It is a few minutes walk to a ski shop with a discount for hotel guests with equally excellent expert equipment and service. Minutes walk from the ski lift. Our room was renovated, clean and cosy on the 4th floor with a slanted ceiling and a balcony giving us a DIRECT and spectacular view of the Matterhorn - see photos. The breakfast and dinners in the restaurant are delicious and attended by friendly and homey professional staff. Ski room had boot warming racks for everyone, spa area (indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi) was very relaxing, clean and neat. They had all the personal touches added, including a complementary 4 minute electric taxi ride to the station with a little bag of Zermatt-made cheese and sparkling water bottles for the just under 4h train ride back to Geneva airport - spectacular views on the way. We absolutely loved it.

Going up from the street to reach the reception may not be very safe for older people or younger children. For some reason it was inconvenient to reach the outdoor dining table. Wasn’t sure if the staff didn’t want u to go outside or something but the doors were locked and hard to open. The shower area is typical of old euro style with swinging cover and can allow water to spill on the floor.

The amazing view of the Matterhorn outside our extra large balcony. Hotel facility was also great! The swimming pool was super clean, gym though small was enough for a day or 2 to catch up on workout. The steam and sauna were also super clean and efficient. The rooms were decent size and beds comfortable. The armoire was helpful to store luggage and get a little organized. Breakfast was also lovely. The staff were amazing! I love this place and highly recommend to anyone coming to Zermatt and wanting a perfect experience!

Loved everything

The staff was very helpful on our planning our visit. The facility is modern. The location is great. The view!!!! Our room faced madhatter mountain top. Our breakfast faced it too and so did the spa.

The entry to the reception is not very accessible.

Good location which is reasonably close to the railway station, shops and restaurants. Exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff in reception and the restaurant. Very good breakfast included in the rate.

No daily mineral water provided compared to other hotels we have stayed in, but we can still drink from tap water. They are chargeable at CHF 2 from receptionist, or can be bought cheaper at groceries stores nearby.

Great room, great view, delicious breakfast. Option to order additional breakfast like bacon and omelette, although it's a bit oily. Free access to swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna with Matterhorn view. Free porter to pick us up to and from Zermatt Bahnhof upon checkin and checkout. Bathroom has body lotion and heating rack.

Wifi was weak in room and connection was not stable but we didn’t inform the hotel since we were there for only 2 days.

Hotel was an easy 10-mins walk from train station since we only have carry-on but hotel can arrange transport to/from train station at your request.Room was clean and bed is comfortable, have a good view of the Matterhorn from our room’s balcony. Breakfast was good with small buffet style of selection and you may order eggs with a few different cooking style. Staff are very warm and friendly. Note there is no amenities such as toothbrush but shower cream are available.

Nice balcony and plenty of windows to allow air into the room. Fantastic wellness area with great temperature of the sauna/hamam although would be nicer if it was open later! Nice breakfast with good options
