Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe front desk staff and bar/restaurant staff were absolutely amazing! The view of the Matterhorn off the balcony was spectacular. We also decided to extend our stay by an extra night and the front desk was nice enough to make that happen -- and even got us into the new room before the checkout for our original room (which was not available for the extra night). All around wonderful experience!

United StatesNothing comes to mind for what I didn't like. Apparently, it's common in Europe to have a shower door that doesn't cover the entire shower, so water may get out. But, this was not a big deal for me.
Traveled with friends and stayed 3 nights here. The staff was extremely welcoming and nice. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent for me, as I am a whole food plant based eater, and there were plenty of options for me. Upon check in, the clerk noticed that I would be having a birthday while staying at the hotel. The morning of my birthday, at breakfast, they had provided me with the best table for views of the Materhorn, along with a decorated table. In addition, they provided a cake from a local bakery. This type of thoughtfulness you don't get much in the states. Also made use of the pool/hot tub and steam/sauna, which was very nice. The hotel is nicely located, no problem walking around to all the restaurants, shops, train station, etc. I had a river view room. My friends had a room with an outdoor deck area with outstanding views of the Materhorn.

WOWWWW this hotel has the BEST view of the Matterhorn from any location we saw in all of Zermatt! We woke up each morning in complete awe of the mountain. We loved swimming in the pool and jacuzzi (also with Matterhorn views). And the staff was just delightful and kind and helpful. Our stay here was magical and we hope to return someday!

Excellent location not far from the station. From the two rooms we had, both had a view of the Matterhorn. The staff were very friendly and helpful we couldn't fault them. The rooms were very comfortable and a good size. The spa was perfect and never busy. The breakfast had a good selection we enjoyed it very much
