The accommodation is on top of the hill so we needed to climb 45 degree upslope.

The whole experience inside the house is very clean, pleasant and comfortable.

Did not receive replies to multiple messages sent on booking.com regarding travel logistics. FYI that you need to press the interior door keypad to illuminate the numbers for code entry (not necessarily intuitive). Sofa bed in living room was not the most comfortable but was okay.

Daily housekeeping with nice towels, easy access to bus 206 with convenient stops and transfers to other helpful bus routes, coffee and tea supplies provided, very clean, beautiful terrace, close to amazing Café du Grütli for epic fondue! Nice dishwasher and fridge. Kitchen had olive oil, s&p, etc as well as cooking basics such as a pot, saucepan, skillet, and pasta colander. Cute, tiny grocery store (Epicerie du Chêne) is up the street for for food essentials or take bus 206 to La Paix bus stop to shop at Coop grocery store. Also close to mountain railway stop “Les Planches”. Breakfast at Tea Room de la Baye down the street is highly recommended (closed Monday/Tuesday).

Nothing. The property is up a steep hill so tricky with suitcases, but Julian thoughtfully advised us to take the bus for this reason- so it was not a problem.

Really great apartment, good sized rooms and the layout worked well for our family, with 2 young children. Well equipped kitchen, toiletries, towels and hairdryer. Julien was quick to respond to WhatsApp messages and instructions were clear for check in etc. Daily housekeeping is available too, which is a nice touch.

The apartment is slightly small and walk up building,so the people with big luggage’s will be a bit tired,and the tenant upstairs walked loudly that I can hear in the midnight

There is a lovely cleaning lady every day, the house is clean and with everything you needs,with around 10 mins walk can arrive the Main Street,overall is a nice place

Great location. Lots of restaurants, shops, station and the lake is all within a few minutes walk. Apartment entrance is well signed and clean. The apartment itself was also very clean and well equipped, the beds were very comfortable. Communication with the owner was very good even though there was initially an issue with booking.com's messaging system.

Only comment was the apartment smelt of cigarette smoke when we arrived so we had to open the windows to improve this.

This apartment is a gem. Such a cute little apartment with all the facilities provided. It was a great find and we had a pleasant stay here. Both the bedrooms are quite large. The living room has a sofa and dining area - which is perfect for a group of 4. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the things needed for cooking.

I might have gotten a taxi from the train station if I realized we'd have to roll the bags uphill the entire way.

Enough room for the 4 of us to spread out. We cooked dinner 1 night. The Museum Restaurant is just steps away for a nice dinner out. Short walk to waterfront and the Christmas market.

Where do I start? I mean this has been one of the best bookings we have had during our one month long trip through Europe. Beautiful place, super clean, amazing beds, well located. 1000% worth it. But what was most incredible, were the hosts. We had an issue with our luggage after leaving and they went above and beyond to help us resolved this issue successfully. We are super grateful and really appreciate that. I will recommend this place to anyone looking to stay here. And hopefully be back. Thanks again ❤️🙏🏼✨

A fan in the bedrooms would be nice & the kitchen could be slightly better equipped but otherwise absolutely perfect.

Loved the location, a short walk to lake, restaurants, shopping etc. was spacious, clean and nicely decorated - pictures represent it well.

Major - Although it is a 15 min walk from the train station, most of it is steep uphill climb on uneven cobbled road, not easy to tackle with heavy luggage. Also, not pleasant if you plan to go and return multiple times a day. - The kitchen had a sharp stink when we arrived, it reduced after a while, but faintly lingered throughout our stay and was a turnoff. Minor - There is no shower mat, curtains or enclosure, so the whole bathroom floor gets wet after you shower. - Bathroom and bedroom doors can not be locked from inside (no key) which was a minor inconvenience. - There are no cupboards to hang clothes (on hangers or hooks). There is a small shelves rack in the bedroom, where folded clothes can be kept.

- An old property converted into modern apartments, has that rustic charm. - Beautiful balcony area for some lovely outdoor meals (specific to room #100). - Attractive decor and modern fittings. - Large windows help to keep the rooms breezy and sunny. - Julien is a prompt and professional host, very accessible on WhatsApp for any query.
