The road leads to the train station is cobbled road which is hard for moving baggage to the hotel.

I did not like having to check in on ipad. My eyesight is not so good. Also not much point supplying coffee machine in room without the capsules. But these are minor points. Overall the hotel was good value

They upgraded is to a better room. It was very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Right in the centre of old town but no street noise as good double glazing.

We arrived on Sunday, so we had to call the hotel to get the pin to get inside the building. No one was there. It’s not very convenient for the international travelers who had to buy data to call

We were satisfied. If there were anything that could be improved, it was probably the variety of breakfast as well as the size of the bathroom and its temperature during winter. Nevertheless, it was still a great deal and we would definitely return if we happen to visit Winterthur again.

The room was clean, quiet (as per our request) and comfortable. The location was great for Winterthur, just next to the main shopping street while the train station is only within a few minutes' walk. There were many restaurants nearby. Staff, including Thomas, Petra and Jasmine, were friendly and helpful. We also loved the fact that Winterthur is a beautiful city and the hotel is in the old town close to parks.

The lift is too small to hold guests with luggages.

Indoor swimming pool. Free Champagne for breakfast. Free Canapes and drinks early evening. I hope you have immediately noticed that I was joking. This place is superb, nothing more needed.

It's only a short walk through the pedestrian area to reach the hotel. The room I was given was at the back side of the hotel and therefor very quite. The room itself was not big but wonderfully comfortable. I was just thinking how old the KRONE actually is. you see it in the stairs. Beautiful breakfast and super service.

Beautiful breakfast in a roomy and quite restaurant. Very friendly staff in all areas. Comfortable beds, large shower where you don't bump in a wall and superb internet connection. Good wine list in the restaurant.

It is a hidden gem in the middle of the city center. Everything is very close. Location is unbeatable. Hotel is very clean. Our room was good size , very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is not huge but has everything you need to start your day and fresh. Parking provided but due to the limited space you need to let them know beforehand. Would recommend and stay there again.

Property is located in pedestrian area of town. It would have been helpful to have driving and parking directions before arriving in the City as it took nearly an hour to deal with everything. Parking was tight in an adjacent garage. The room was so small there was no place to lay out the suitcase (other than on the bed) for unpacking.

Small thing, I did not manage to cast to the smart TV for some reason.

One of our best hotel stays in recent years, our corner room had all the comfort we may have needed, including small details like umbrella, slippers, the way breakfast is presented, etc. We usually try to avoid staying in old buildings, but this one was clean and well equipped/maintained.

Minor thing is a detail that for business trips you should book in advance business centres

I absolutely loved it. I told them my parents had a special celebration and they made a beautiful surprise. I also changed clothes for my civil wedding at the room. Absolutely great, staff awesome, comfortable room, and would highly recommend for anyone who stayed at Winterthur
