We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesToo many people in town and a little noisy in the morning from outside as people go with their ski equipment early to the First gondola. But that’s not the hotels fault.
Nice breakfast. Really liked the muesli made with blueberries and yoghurt. Nice rolls and bread, cheeses, cold cuts, yoghurts.

SingaporeThere was no toothbrushes provided. Not sure if its a culture here in Swiss but thats fine. Not a big fuss actually. Stairs are a little narrow if you are carrying big and bulky suitcases. The sound of your neighbours might be quite loud as the rooms are all very near each other. Please note toilets are shared but the condition of the toilets are totally fine.
The service staff was excellent. They were very helpful and we appreciate all the help they have rendered.

United KingdomI appreciated the fact that they give you a visitor card good for discounts in different activities and transport, however I very much disliked the fact that they give it to you only once you enter your room: I went on the First Cliff Walk that morning by paying the full price ticket, only to realise the card the hotel gives you allows you a discount (and my check-in was obviously in the afternoon, after I've done that attraction already and according to what I had planned for my holidays I couldn't use that card in any other way unfortunately). It'd be nice to be informed of this card in advance or maybe give the visitor card in a digital way before our arrival, like other hotels do, so that we can actually use it or plan everything properly and ahead.
I went for a comfy little room with a shared toilet/shower. The window from my room offered a lovely view of the mountains and a little garden. Breakfast is rich and vary. The old style look of the room and the hotel was really nice.

Hong Kongto get there, you have to take a steep walk from train station no elevator. more description abt the room can be given. there’s no hair dryer in the room that i thought it can’t be offered. but then the other day i spotted a hair dryer at the reception. reception operate in a short period of time, so you better ask everything in advance.
the staff is super helpful and nice. the breakfast is kinda nice. the room is comfy, the shared bathroom is clean, has great space and looks really nice.

United StatesSome communication problems led to a delay in recess package I had sent to the hotel. Although the one staff member I interacted with was kind and helpful, it seemed communication was a bit inconsistent between staff. The fact that there is no staff on site after 3pm also makes it hard to get assistance in the evening. The building is old and although everything was clean, my single room had a musty smell to it.
Location was close to many attractions, but it was still a quiet place. I loved the garden and all the places to sit and enjoy views of the mountains. Two common rooms were also convenient. Basic, but good selection at breakfast. Compared to other places in Grindelwald, the price is pretty good for a private room.
