United States of AmericaI asked for a second pillow, as one was not enough support for me. Staff kindly brought an additional one directly to me and with nothing but a pure smile on their face and laughter in their voice.
From the moment I entered Hotel Edelweiss, I felt at home and at ease. Not only is the space arranged and maintained for comfort, but the staff is genuinely engaged with your presence. For example, Daniel, the proprietor happily greets guests with good mornings over homemade breakfast (including two-year cheese from a neighbor!). He is pleased to offer any advice or find answers to your questions for your daily adventures before you set out for the day. Stay at Hotel Edelweiss if you are looking for an experience that welcomes you to Wengen, the Alps, and fellow travelers as a heartfelt community.

I've been swiss 5th. among many hotel i've stayed ever, this hotel is the best. the BBQ they offer as dinner is also u nforgettable and food was so delicious. everything is perfect and exceptional. that was so enjoyable staying. Especially tomas is very nice and kind for his guest. this hotel have their unique vibe which is so great to feel. thank you tomas for giving us vandana as a gift. it was very handy for hiking.

Tomas and the rest of the staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The breakfasts were good, as were the dinners on the two nights we dined there. On the night they were closed for dinner, they made an excellent recommendation. Tomas was also very helpful in helping us plan our outings. On our departure day, there was a surprise snowfall, so Tomas arranged a cab to take guests to the train station.

staying at the Edelwiss is an unforgettable experience. It is a family run hotel and in some respect similar to a Non for profit place. For example , the evening when we were all invited to a wine tasting which was a great experience and the purpose was not to sell us any wine! It was a great evening to meet others staying at the hotel which was very nice.

Breakfast and dinner were included. Buffet for breakfast was excellent. Dinner was good and very good value and quality as there are limited restaurants in Wengen.

Our favorite place to stay!! Room was great for the 3 of us! The staff become like family, delicious and big breakfast, and beautiful lawn and patio to sit and enjoy the mountains! It was home to us for 3 days. There even is a children’s playroom if you bring kids. Love this quiet Swiss town. Convenient to the train especially w our Swiss Travel Pass.

Cute property with nice decor and yard. The room has a balcony which has nice view. Staff are nice and helpful. There is water and snacks in the lobby. Quite many facilities for a hotel at this size.

- Fantastic location and stunning view out of our room - The staff was great! Made the most to make us feel like home (which is also the motto of the place, as we understood :) ), and gave us recommendations and guidance how to spend our time in the area - The dinner at the hotel restaurant was great and very well priced for the location. the chef accommodated my dietary requirements (transformed the 4-course meal into a vegetarian one), which was super tasty and featured cuisine from that and nearing areas. Would recommend to book! - Nice and relatively clean rooms - Nice breakfast for a 2 star hotel

United Kingdom- A really lovely hotel, super comfortable and the view from the balcony was spectacular (we chose the standard bunk bed room but still had a phenomenal view!) - Location is perfect in the lovely car-free village of Wengen. Short walk to the train station and cable car, and it’s right on the start of the walking trail down to Lauterbrunnen. - All the staff were super friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. - We chose to have dinner in the hotel each night and it was delicious and great value, we would recommend doing this. The first night was an all-you-can-eat BBQ in the sun, with lots of food options, and the second night a more traditional sit down 4-course meal, all lovely. - Breakfast was also perfect and a great selection
