We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe room was warm and to have the fan we had in the room aimed at us while we slept we had to plug it in to an outlet that would turn off the fan when we turned out the lights. We had to sleep with a light on to keep the fan going.

AustraliaWhile all of Switzerland seemed expensive to us after walking through France, this accommodation seemed particularly expensive. On the positive side, the room was very clean and spacious and the staff were cordial and hepful.
We were walking the Via Francigena so appreciated being able to get early entry to our room when we arrived hot and tired. The staff member, who was a keen outdoors person, was very helpful and pleasant. She kindly provided us with a kettle so we could boil hot water for our tea and coffee.

AustraliaBreakfast is adequate. Nothing to do with hotel really but... Taxi driver overcharged us for our 2 suitcases. We ordered one from the hotel..just check how much they will charge. 25chf to drive to station and we could manage our bags ..just had a sore knee and couldn't walk distance.
Close to station and village centre. Friendly staff. We were able to wait for our train in the lounge area. Room was small but comfortable train going past didn't bother us.

United KingdomThe staff were nice but it was a very disconnected management. Mostly there were no staff on duty. Staff were only there for a short period in the morning and the evening. It felt more like an ABB rental than a hotel, but with Hotel costs.
Nice hotel, a short walk from the station. Good room, a little noisy when the Train runs through the street from horribly early in the morning.

SwitzerlandI was actually quite disappointed considering that I stayed 2 nights and it was expensive ! When I checked in my room it had not been checked carefully, I went to tell the reception team downstairs and they did apologise . But my room was not cleaned at all whilst I was there, I did again speak to the receptionist. Apparently we had a misunderstanding, but we were in a heatwave and not even my bin was emptied ! I am from the hospitality industry so expect to have a cleaned room !
The staff were very polite and helpful. There was a good selection of breakfast choices !

ChinaUntil 4pm in the night lots of people shouting and fighting just outside the hotel, not a safe place, at 1 am we had to call the Swiss Police to come because two guys were going to damage our car parked just in front of the main entranceof the hotel and we could see from our windows. The police arrived with two teams and they remained until 2pm to solve the situation and to check all the area. In more there's the train path just in front of the hotel that during Saturday runs until 2am in the night, it's just under yours windows, tons of noisy if you think that you're in very small village among the Swiss Alps. The room is extremely little - there's even no space for open two little trolley (in the pics of booking it seems much bigger, it's a tricky, pay attention!), bed and pillow totally uncomfortable. At 8pm of Saturday, there's no one to make your check-in and especially to talk with, because all of these bad situations.
