Slightly dated decor.

My husband said to me about 10 times that I scored big time when picking this hotel simply because of the location. Being steps from the interlaken ost train station and the Lake Brienz boat was incredibly convenient. We used Interlaken as a base for exploring the region and the easy and quick access to the train station was perfection. Yes the rooms are dated but the staff is nice and the rooms are good enough for all your basic needs. The daily housekeeping was a nice touch too!

10/10 for location. Right outside the interlakken oost station where you can catch trains to Inter-lakken and Lauterbrunnen. The Brienz ferry also is located right outside the hotel.Harder Kulm is 10 min walk. Perfect for those who want to use Interlakken as a base of stay for the Jungfrau region. The staff are very friendly and polite. The hotel has a rustic charm. You have lake and mountain views from the windows.

The hotel is located right across the train station and the marina where you book your lake cruise. It's also along the river and has a really nice view. The room was quite spacious and really clean. Breakfast has a lot of fruit selections.

Its Location is unbeatable- central to town , and besides the main train and bus terminal . The views from the rooms are dreamy.

The facility was let down by other guests not having any respect for others in relation to excessive noise, needed to contact the reception to request action. Which they did, a little improvement on that night. Discussed with the reception team next morning, they took it further and the following night a lot better. We enjoyed the facility, it’s a unique facility, but enjoyable and close to all facilities. Bed needs an update but otherwise the facility is neat.

We don’t understand why there was no top sheet on the bed. There was only a duvet, and since there was no air conditioning, the duvet was too warm and not having a top sheet made it a little inconvenient.

We totally loved the location which is exactly across the street from the railroad station and also on the river/lake, which made it delightful! We were also very pleased that there was an ice machine on air floor, which we had unlimited access to our purposes. The staff was wonderful and the next morning we were leaving before 7 AM and they allowed us to grab some breakfast from the Breakfast restaurant in order to meet our train by 7 AM. During our stay, they also allowed us to store our luggage both before we checked in and after we checked out which was very helpful to us.

The breakfast was too basic for the cost. The lack of fridge inside the rooms. Too expensive but that's Switzerland.

The location next to the station was perfect. The staff were friendly and the room was spacious and bright.

The tariff of the room for one night was CHF 360.00 is too much for Middleclass family or upper Middleclass family. I had to book the room as because my booking in Interlaken Youth Hostel was cancelled as because the payment through the Credit Card was failed and Booking.com Intimated through my e-mail and was given time for 24 hours to make payment by other Cards or other method of payment but since I was on tour in Paris to witnessing Olympic Games I could not check the mail within 24 hrs and when I saw the mail on 8th August -2024 my booking in Interlaken Youth Hostel was cancelled. I had no other alternative to book this hotel with exorbitant price of CHF 360.00 for a single night (check in time 3.00 pm and check out time 11.00 am i.e only for 20 hours.) as I had booked other activities in Interlaken which I had to attend and I had return ticket from Interlaken by Train to Zurich and from Zurich to Milan. Hence I was bound to spent that huge amount for only 20 hours.

Room is excellent. Location is very very near (300 meters) from Interlaken OST station and just by the side of the side of Lake Brienz. Breakfast is very good. While Check out time is at 11.00 AM, Check in time should have to be earlier. Not at 3.00 pm which is a odd time.

The pillows are too soft. We felt that the bedroom and bathroom floors were not vacuumed everyday.

Very convenient location. Near the train station, near the Coop, near the Marina. Breakfast spread is okay, typical of European hotels of the same standard. Bedroom size is very good.

Our bed was simply two singles moved together, not the most comfortable, but adequate. Breakfast is a basic continental only, noy option for cooked food, but also adequate. Rooms are not air conditioned, so room got fairly warm during the day but plenty of windows to open. A standing fan was provided. At night you can leave windows open for cooling but the trains (of course as expected) will keep you awake. Be aware that the hotel is not staffed after 8 pm, so if you need anything after that, forget it.

This is the closest hotel to the train station, and immediately on the river. Our room was city facing but had a small balcony which was great. Would stay again.
