The Location was bang on for us as we wanted to travel a lot on the SBB. even the cruise pier was just across the hotel and very close to all the attractions in Interlaken.

Staff good and friendly, but we had a noisy dog and guest in the adjoining room - we complained to reception but the noise continued!

Location is excellent as it’s only 50 metres from the station entrance, yet also by the river! Staff friendly. Good breakfast. Big Coop nearby if you need anything. Lovely walks nearby with views of the river and mountains.

The Location is the perfect one !! Just next to Interlaken OST station. you can board the train and boat as per your convenience . We had Swiss pass for 4 days to roam around swizerland, so this was an ideal place to catch the train. Rooms are specious. Staff are good, only issue i had was with the breakfast. My expectation was bit high .. options for foods were bit limited. Otherwise !!! everything was perfect.

Because the building was so old, I could hear the people upstairs very clearly. It is certainly impossible to control a group of tourists who stomp all night with no regard for others, but this is something to be aware. Could not hear the trains or road from the room.

Service was exceptional. Rooms were certainly old but didn’t feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Good bed with the usual flat pillows in Europe (not to my liking). Breakfast was extensive, croissants, fresh bread rolls, tea and coffee, turkey ham, cheeses, juices, yoghurt, boiled eggs. Able to store luggage before and after your stay in a safe location.

Breakfast had limited options. Place needs renovations. There were ants crawling at the side of the latch next to the dining table

The hotel seems to have been glorious in the past, but it is way past due a renovation. I think about it as a classic hotel and we've grown accustomed to refined spaces now. For example, the room lacks power sockets on both sides of the bed, which is a must have these days. The breakfast is simple but with high quality products.

Surely the cleanliness of the hotel in general and the room. Everything was pristine. The location is also top notch, with both good restaurants and a big supermarket in a walking distance, fulfilling all sorts of budgets.

The hotel building is old, the keys are old-fashioned, and the floor is a bit squeaky and noisy.

After reading the reviews, I was afraid it wouldn't be clean, but the sheets were very clean, towels were replaced every day, and even when we forgot to wash our own dishes, they cleaned them for us. Yes, the hotel is old, but compared to other places in the area, you get a lot for the price. The view from the room was great, and it had a lot of space. The location is perfect and saves a lot of time in the morning, as the routes to all the popular destinations pass through Interlaken Ost.

I asked for a quiet room, unfortunately the train traffic was at times loud. Would have been better to have a room on the other side of the hall. Also, the noise level was a bit high due to common dealings.

The bed height was a bit low. And the mattress was too soft to my liking. I could hear the other guests open their doors, as the key are still old fashioned and not modern with card reader. But it wasn't too bothersome. The mirror in the bathroom is not made for tall people, my friend is 184cm and had to 'duck' a bit. I was fine (I'm 170cm) For the rest really loved the stay!

Almost everything! Beautiful surroundings. great location, walking distance from town center, and a nice stroll to the lake. Very nice room and excellent view! Quite spacious. Breakfast room beautiful. Nice food continental and not heavy like an english or american breakfast. Free parking upfront. And if no space available; the alternative paying parking is not that expensive (it is free of charge between 19.00 and 7.00).

The price. Yes it is Switzerland, but this was pricey.

Directly across the street from Interlaken Ost station. Beautiful views from the hotel with either a mountain view or the small turquoise river. Breakfast was so so. Our bathroom was very nice, looked recently renovated. Staff were rarely available. No front desk staff after 8 pm.

No hot water in the wash basin. Shower tap was leaking. Will be good if there was a fridge too.

It was very near to the train station. Good for short stays where travellers need a convenient base near transport to move around in the day to explore nearby regions of attraction.

The balcony overlooking the river was a wonderful. Great place to sit with coffee. Beautiful. Location was perfect- right by the interlocked OST station.

A bit too close to the trains station! Room overlooking the tracks was quite noisy. Room (no air con would be very hot in summer.

Regarding price of room little bit expensive but worth it.

The property is very old but they have kept it in good condition. The rooms are not very new neither is the furniture. Breakfast doesn’t have a lot of options and is same on all the days.

Right next to the river and the train station which is of great convenience and saves up a lot of time traveling. The rooms are big. There is no AC but they do provide standing fan. The river facing room actually is so beautiful. The bed is comfortable and washroom is big.
