The hotel is understaffed and the entire property is managed by two highly efficient ladies. Since the hotel has rooms which can be accessed only thru stairs but with no support to the guests. The lady guest manager although volunteered to help it's hard for any guests to seek assistance from a lady who is already under pressure too much. I would rate both the lady staff exceptional but the hotel management should consider appointing more employees. The hotel otherwise is outstanding.

The hotel is clearly outdated which was nerve racking but thankfully the rooms are more modern. Sound proofing could be better, easy to hear others.

Bathroom was a bit small but workable.

Room was a nice size for 3 people. They stored our bags and them took them to our room when it was ready while we visited Interlaken. They also stored our bags the day of checkout so we could do activities. Staff was very nice and even gave my husband a special treat on his birthday. Room had a refrigerator. Our room required that we climb stairs but it was not a problem.

Very close to station but did not realize there were two stations in interlaken and they are pretty far apart. Luckily we figured out which one did get off at before going to the next station. We had a room that had an cozy country style do it but I did notice that there were more updated rooms. But I liked the feel of the room we had.

Check-in was a breeze. Breakfast is incredible and the staff was vey friendly. Small, functional, no frills rooms. Decent proximity to town. This hotel was the best value of all the places we stayed in Switzerland. Would certainly use again.

I bit high on price. Rooms were very hot with no aircon and that was in May. But a fan was provided. Bathroom small and hot.

Location was great. They gave you a free local travel card. Breakfast was nice. Staff were very helpful. Very large room with a balcony with a beautiful view.

I'd say my only complain was that the doors to every room were thin. You could hear people come and go if you have noisy room neighbours and whatnot. However as someone who moves and walks a lot during my travels : I slept like a baby and didn't hear anything + my room neighbours were calm :)

Honestly, this hotel is fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the room had a fridge and a shower with amazing water pressure. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast lady knew my choice of drink by heart on the second day. Had service in french in the heart of German speaking Switzerland which was unexpected. For the price you pay, it is a fantastic place to stay. Oh, also it's a 2 minutes walk from Interlaken West!

The lift is too small and slow. we travelled with 12 people and wait for the lift to go up almost 20 minutes till everyone can enter to the room.

Staff are excellent! Rooms comfortable. Location was very close to Interlaken West. Some construction nearby but not a problem. Easy walkability. Loved the Brita water bottle filler in the lobby.

The bathroom is very small, and the ceiling is low. The room wasn’t enough clean. The breakfast coffe was horrible, and the variety of pastries was poor.

The food ran out in a lot of the containers especially the hot food. It wasn’t topped up fast enough. Staff couldn’t keep up with it. So a lot of the time things were empty.
