The room was a bit noisy due to the road and also quite small. No facilities to dry swimming stuff after the beach.

The location is superb - right next to the castle, bus and train stations. The marvellous Lake Geneva beach is in 2-3 walking distance.

Rooms were above a temporarily closed restaurant. Had to go by dumpsters to get to room. Room was very small.

The view of the castle was really nice. Access to the lake and castle were great! Fan in the room was nice.

Location was not great. Room by the main road so it was noisy. It was a loft so slanting edge of room was a hazard to the head for tall human. No trash bin and no tissue in toilet.

Lowest price we got at last minute due change in itinerary. Good staff response through WhatsApp. Acceptable cleanliness. Minimal facilities. Surprise there was a fridge and water boiler and some tea bags.

There is some noise in the room entire night, probably that's the way the air ventilation is built. Otherwise the place would be just perfect as a one night stay. As the place is a 40-50 minutes walk from both neighbor towns, the only place to eat is the restaurant on the ground floor. It looks great, however, we did not have a chance to experience it, as it was closed for both dinner and breakfast (low season, I guess).

Located opposite the castle, on the side of the road. However, when the windows are closed no car noise comes inside. The view from the windows - on the lake and the castle - is beautiful. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful.

Restaurant was closed, so there was no option to eat in the hotel. This should have been informed prior. It would have been nice to have atleast a coffee machine and a vending machine accessible all the time. The location is a little remote and hence this would be a great advantage for all customers.

Location is execellent, if you want to spend time in isolation near a lake and great views of the mountain. You can peek out of the window to have a view of the famous Chillon castle! Public transport to main city is also well connected.

There is no holder for the showerhead in the sharing bathroom. The functioning of heating machine need to be checked and fixed.

There was no sign for the hotel outside it. Therefore, I had some difficulty locating it.

I thank the owner of the hotel, Michele who helped me beyond his responsibility when I was a lone first-time visitor to Switzerland which was not easy at all. Kind Michele made my trip to Switzerland less difficult.

The address didn't have the street number on and the flat was up some steps beside a restaurant that was closed so there was no one to ask where it was as the name 'Castle view'was nowhere to be seen. It was my fault that I hadn't realised that my phone data wouldn't work in Switzerland as it did in the rest of Europe so an earlier phone call could have saved us a lot of searching time. ( We were helped by the kind people at the Café who rang the owner from there - they were fantastic). We didn't meet anyone as everything was done over the phone. There is no air conditioning so it was important to get in and close the curtains and window to keep the heat out, but there is a small fridge which is helpful. No kettle or coffee maker.

Loved the view and the location was amazing right next to the lake and opposite the Castle and café. Also the ensuite bathroom was lovely. You could watch YouTube on the TV...

One curtain was hanging off its track. What is the point in providing sachets of coffee but no milk? The approach to the rooms was very messy and poorly kept.

Most of the facilities were there but the expected view of the castle from the room was not.

The Hotel Location is a blast! Straight opposite the castle Chillion where is also a bus stop! Underneath the hotel are 2 Restaurats. Go 4 the Gill Mountain. We just had our best dinner there if you like meet. In the middle of the table you make your BBQ by yourself 🥳 High quality food for a mod-rate price! Our waitress Victoria was amazing 👌🙏

The location is just behind the fort of Chillion and is perfect if you like to SUP cause you could water in just on the bottom of the fort a🥳 Bus stop is also straight in front of the hotel and also 2(!) restaurants are underneath of it 👌 The owner and manager Michel is super friendly and and answers questions directly and helps with all you need! I recently stayed at Castle View with my wife, and we highly recommend it! The price is reasonable, and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The boss responds promptly to messages, and our room and bathroom were both clean and well-maintained. It's a quiet place, perfect for relaxation, with stunning views of the castle and lake. The parking facilities did not exist, as the only available parking anywhere near the property is on the street and has a limit of 3 hours. We chose this property because it was listed as having parking available and needed somewhere to leave our car. The owner originally tried to convince us to leave our keys in the room so that he could come in every three hours and move our car himself, and then he tried to fix it by offering us a car park space 5km away from the property, to which we would have to take the bus to and from. We accepted this, but he left us waiting several times. We missed a dinner waiting for the parking pass, and at 10:30pm, after waiting for over an hour, he said he would come by in the morning instead. We mentioned we had somewhere to be pretty early so asked him to stop by before 8am, and he ignored our messages and calls. We had to pay for parking elsewhere, and when we said this was unacceptable and would need to stay elsewhere, he turned hostile, not only towards us, but towards booking .com staff as well. Dealing with him was a horrible and stressful experience and I would recommend avoiding it entirely. In the room, the lamp didn’t work and we had a squeaky fan that barely worked. Not worth the price at all.

The rooms are very poorly decorated. It is amazingly warm on a summer evening with no air conditioning. Although the rooms are clean the rest is really very messy and dirty... Some of the rooms are extremely small be ready for minimum comfort.

Very original place to stay in a great location! The host was very friendly although somewhat absent - Nice food in the restaurant downstairs... Strangely compared to the rest, the beds were wonderful.
