It can be a little loud at night when you leave your window open since there is no A/C as it looks down on a very popular and nice courtyard restaurant/bar.

We wanted something different and knew what we were getting into. Very small room but the bed was comfortable and the shower was plenty big. It wasn’t easy to drive to and find parking but was worth the frustration. A great location and great restaurants near by!

There was nothing not to like! It was about a 15/20 walk from the train station…but it was lovely being in the old part of town so the distance to the train station wasn’t a problem for us.

What a cool, fantastic place to stay! A building with loads of character…tastefully modernised from being a former prison! Lovely and clean and comfortable! We were upgraded to a family room free of charge! Receptionists were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming! Located in the beautiful old town in Chur! We loved our 3 night stay here!

It was exceptionally clean and the staff was extremely helpful. I had never stayed in a hostel before and was a little nervous. It was a fantastic experience! I made new friends and everyone in our room was super respectful. Overall it is a superbly clean property, with helpful staff, in a safe environment. I almost forgot, it’s less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. Great location!

The room got quite warm at night and there were no fans available.

Just a 10 min walk from Chur train station; incredibly clean and well maintained facilities; very friendly and helpful staff; sizeable showers; loads of restaurants and amenities within walking distance of the hostel.

It was warm on the night we visited and the room felt very stuffy/warm that night and the next morning.

Easy to communicate with, receptionist very friendly and spoke great English. There were also free nibbles left over from an earlier event - they were most welcome. The room was good. Restaurant next door had lovely food.

The curtains weren’t very good and let in a lot of light. The bed could have been a bit cleaner as there were a couple of bits on the duvet when we arrived, but nothing for a major issue.

The room was really nice, and I liked the old prison feel which made it feel really unique. The staff and communication was excellent, and the square outside with the bar was great!

Very equipped kitchen, the beds in the shared rooms where great with curtains that provided privacy. Each bed has a light and power source. I really liked this hostel!

Family room small for 4 people, not much room for luggage. Kitchen could be bigger- a bit of a squeeze when several people coming or eating.

Quirky, characterful building, good location in the old town, good atmosphere the square outside and quiet by 23:00, clean, comfortable beds, good bathroom. Well equipped and modern kitchen

The co-working place was unexpected, it was quiet and equipped with a printer, just what I needed for my trip. The staff was really supportive.

It was a unique experience staying in this former prison. The staff were super smiley and helpful. We were able to leave our bags for the day while we enjoyed chur and the mountains. The hotel gave us access to a tourist card which cut the cablecar price in half and the evening we arrived there was a BBQ where you paid what you felt it was worth. Totally brilliant experience in a lovely place and it's made us want to return.
