Absolutely fantastic stay. The spa is absolutely fantastic and provides a real swiss, non touristic sauna experience. The breakfast includes everything you could ask for, from delicious pancakes to ginger smoothies.

It would be great to have a mini fridge in the room. The hotel should also consider having a room to deposits skis and boots (we had to keep them outside the room door on some mats the hotel provides).

Great breakfast at the four star hotel behind it. I liked the fact that the room was renovated and had a nice bathroom. I also liked the wooden panelling and the chalet feel of the room.

Bellevue-Pinte is part of the Bergwelt Alpine Design Resort. When checking in I was told I had been given an upgrade to this resort. This was a very thoughtful action by the Hotel and I can said that the Bergwelt staff gave us an amazing stay. Definitely the place to stay at our next trip. Plus, we were given a discount to go the the Grindelwald First as well as a ticket to travel freely with the public bus throughout our stay.

Reception had no idea that the Pinte had a place to store skis - we discovered it ourselves at the back of the hotel through a tiny door. Pillows weren’t very comfortable. No tea/coffe making facilities in the room.

Great location on the Main Street in Grindelwald. The hotel is in an old Swiss building but has been refurbished really well. Our room was huge and faced the Main Street. The first ski area is a few minutes walk and the 121 bus to the other ski areas is a 1 minute walk the other way. The breakfast is excellent and in the main hotel located behind the Pinte. Very good wifi - we took a firestick with us and had no problem with the speed.

One downside is you have to check in at the Hotel Bergwelt reception area, you have to climb up, it's a bit of a hassle if you are bringing your luggages

Location is near Grindelwald bahnhof, 7-10 min walk. The room has a spectacular view. The staff let us borrow water kettle and utensils

Hotel was great in a super location walking distance to the lifts and train. The room was quite large, beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful and kind. The breakfasts were an amazing buffet with everything you could possibly want. The only problem was the Hotel, which had been recently acquired by a greater chain, was down the hill and the reception was up the hill. We were ok with the climb but for physically challenged folks it would not have been a good place to stay. There was no mention in the reservation of the reception being in a different place. I do think that part should be made clear in the write up.

Actually the description in booking.com is not correct: They have nice wifi, but no air conditioning, also no kettle. The place to check in and out is in another hotel.

The best breakfast I’ve ever had in Europe! The room is big and everything is clean. This hotel is very worthy to book! Definitely recommend in Grindelwald!

The hotel is right on the main street. There is a popular bar across the street so late night noise (1 AM) as the bar empties out. No air conditioning which is generally probably not an issue there, but something to note.

The rooms were great. Nicely decorated, clean, comfortable. Our dinner (traditional Swiss fondue) Was very good and our server was really helpful. Gave us some ideas for hikes the next day.

The room was sold as twin-bedded but in fact, should only have been a single room as it was pretty small. My pillow was dreadful. It was filled with bits of foam shoved into a pillowcase so made getting off to sleep difficult.

This is not a hotel. It is the Annex of a much larger hotel which is not made clear on booking.com. This hotel does not have a reception or parking, it shares it with a different hotel which we were not told before arriving so finding anything about hotel PINTE is almost impossible. Parking was hard until we were told to use the tunnel for the larger hotel. When we got parked you have to go to the reception in the big hotel behind at which point you find out your staying in an Annex not a standalone hotel. When we arrived at the room we found it was 1/2 the size of what is advertised on the website. No chairs and almost no room to move about, it literally was 2 beds in a box. The safe is not big enough to hold much more than a few passports, and didn’t even stay locked when we used it briefly. The beds were tiny and nothing like advertised in the double room photos. After we complained these issues were fixed by other means but it took 2 hours and three trips to reception for us to reach that point.

Our stay only improved after we had been to reception for the third time to complain, when we did we were upgraded and all of our issues solved.

However, the room at Pinte was somewhat cramped, and considering the price, it did not offer good value for money. We would likely choose a different accommodation next time.

The staff were professional and friendly, and the hotel is centrally located in Grindelwald. Although the room was smaller than advertised, the reception was accommodating when we raised the issue.

Had booked 2 rooms. Upon early arrival there was no reception. Found chef in closed restaurant through side door and had to leave bags there. Discovered there was another check in at another hotel - up a lot of stairs. Extremely confusing. Returned at afternoon check in time. Rooms still not available. Offered room in other hotel. Pinte seems to be a 'front' for the other hotel. The booking.com site for Pinte is possibly misleading??

They are totally fake reviews of this property! They have two different hotels, all the good reviews are about the luxury one, definitely not the one we stayed. We spent a lot of money (aka luxury 5 stars hotel) price to stay in this hotel, but what we got was a tiny room only can fit in one double bed, and it’s inside a pub, next to a restaurant, you can’t open windows as it’s very smelly. We wrote a complaint email to Booking.com. They really need to check this hotel as those reviews are fake.
