We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe man who was there to check us in was the biggest jerk I have ever met that worked in the hospitality industry, it was amazing to meet someone with such a rude and confrontational attitude that still had all his teeth. It didn’t set the tone for our stay, I’m glad I never ran into him again. The common areas as well as the room were very smelly and I just didn’t feel clean. Stayed at other hostels before this was the least sanitary one.
Good location but Lauterbrunnen is small so everything is a good location. The other guests were nice.

United StatesThe rooms left much to be desired, shared bathroom and kitchen area. This time of year this area is in an "off season" and many hotels are closed down, this one was open which is a bonus but I personally did not feel comfortable using the restroom.
We liked the location as well that there was a restaurant as well at the bottom of the hotel.

United KingdomIt worked for me. It was considerably cheaper than anywhere else I looked at. And I loved my single room. But the walls are no better than curtains and the single room is next to the triple room and the kitchen so I think they grt the quieter neighbours However, I had read the previous reviews so I knew this would be an issue so I was prepared. The room was a good size and you can see the mountain and waterfall,albeit over three roof of the neighbours The tourist information office is right next door and they gave me a discount card that they thought my accommodation would have given me They provide towels and there is a shared hairdryer in the shared bathroom. The kitchen seemed well equipped I can't complain because my only real issues I had been warned about and the location is more than I had expected

United StatesActually great value for money if you need to spend one or two nights at Lauterbrunnen. I booked a single room for a 41$ at booking as a mobile offer and this room was clean pretty well organized even not super small and also has a waterfall view. SO for 41$ per single room its totally amazing. Let's be fair! I do not recommend this hotel for romantic couples because the sound system is a bit poor but for smart solo travelers it's a good option!

At kitchen there were some dirty dishes. And some of the other guests got up to early- at about 3.00 0’clock and waked us up because of too noisy doors and floor.

United StatesThe walls are thin so if you have someone that snores you will be wide awake like me all night. The floor also creeks a lot so anyone walking around you’ll hear it or anyone above you walking you’ll hear it. The floor I stayed on had a broken shower head so you had to hold it to shower. If you can spend a little bit more for a nicer place do it. I ended up leaving after the 1st of 3 nights. Also feels super grimie in the bathroom.
Location is great but at a cost. See what I didn’t like.
