Bruno was a great host, he has set up the property very well to receive guests, we had such a relaxing time in Montreux, spent hours in the living room looking out to the amazing view, sunset was beautiful

We stayed on the top floor, and the view from the balcony is exceptional. The location is perfect, being approximately 15 to 18 minutes from the center. The host is really nice and supportive, providing the Montreux Riviera Card, which can be used for buses as well. The Montreux Midi bus stop (Bus 206) is conveniently located right beside the apartment.

Spotless, spacious and cozy apartment with unobstructed and breathtaking views of the lake and Alpine giants. The owner Bruno is nice and provides all kinds of interesting information about the area. Exceptional experience in the heart of Montreux. Covered parking garage in front of the door. Private entrance.

Beautiful terrace view to lake. Spacious and eclectic apt with Netflix on tv. Nice area near lake and old town but the return journey very hilly. Bus stop at end of the road

Might be nice to have A/C, but it’s not bad without it.

The property has an INCREDIBLE view from the balcony. Most of the time we were there, we were on the balcony. The rest of the apartment is very comfortable and homey. Ideal for a family or small group. The owner was super accommodating and friendly. Very nice guy. Hope to stay here again.

As it’s an older building, all luggage must be hand-carried up the stairs.

A lovely apartment with an inviting, old world charm. Plenty of space. Everything needed was provided for a comfortable stay. Kitchen very well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals and more. Fantastic view over the lake and very convenient location for walking or public transport. Attentive service from the charming host, Bruno.

Bruno is the best host we've ever had during our travels. He explained everything and communicated with us whenever needed. The apartment, furnishings, location, cleanliness, and comfort were superb. Thank you Bruno for making our stay a wonderful experience!

Someone mentioned that it was a lot of stairs, and they weren’t kidding. If you are used to the US way of floors, the apartment is on the fourth floor of the building. So, be prepared to climb up lots of steps with the luggage. The views and the apartment are worth it, but just plan accordingly. Also, communicating with Bruno through the messaging on booking.com was not the easiest. He always responded and in a timely manner but sometimes I was still left with questions after the response and would need to go back and forth to get my answer. Lastly, the only other challenge for us was that we were used to the flexible check-in times at hotels and such, so it was a bit tricky to make sure that we could meet up to be let in and receive the keys. I had to change our arrival times a couple of times and felt like I was a bother.

The apartment is spacious and well-appointed. The view from the balcony is incredible. The kitchen had lots of pots and pans, utensils, and even some spices, but no cooking oil (we made do since we were only staying for a couple of nights and it didn’t make sense to buy a big bottle of olive oil). The rooms were comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. Most importantly, I *felt* comfortable staying here, like I was staying in a home and not hotel rooms. Bruno was kind and walked us through all of the steps for using appliances in the apartment.

Dear god, I am speechless! The apartment is excellent and the view....oh wow, the view is just amazing! The apartment is complete with everything you need. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook as well. Kids will be happy with all the toys, boardgames, tv, books to read....all available for us to use. The apartment is located at the 3rd floor with no lift, so not easily accessible to those with wheelchair. However, this is not a problem for our family 😀 p/s: washing machine and dryer are shared with other people, so you may need to let Mr Castellani knows earlier if you plan to use them during your stay.

It would have been nice if I could have stayed longer and been able to do some more hiking but I went for my son’s wedding and only stayed one week.

We could have sat on the balcony for the entire stay. The view was spectacular. Montreux was quiet, clean and beautiful. From the balcony we could hear church bells, train whistles, boat horns and children playing in the park below. Very peaceful. We inadvertently chose the Freddie Mercury weekend and were able to enjoy the music of Queen along the lovely lake walk. We strolled down the lake walk in the other direction to take in the beauty of Château de Chillon. Hiking with spectacular views of Lac Léman was accessible after a short walk up the hill from Les Amandiers and swimming was a slightly longer amble straight down the hill to the Lake. Excellent location and easy access to the train, bus and Ubers.

old windows let the noise from the road into the sleeping room in the morning. Old building with old stores warms up on hot summer days without air conditioning. Only public parking in the streets, which is limited to 3 hours for free, or expensive parking house.

public transport to the location and around Montreux is frequent and with air conditioning and included in the local tourist tax. view from the apartment and its balconies on the lake and mountains is wonderful. supermarkets, touristic spots, and spots for swimming in the lake are accessible within 8 min. by feet Quite quiet place.

Gorgeous space, perfect for a small family, and a fabulous kitchen! We loved cooking and hanging out with family in this beautiful apartment. We hope to return on future trips!
