Gorgeous views from our balcony! Enjoyed the traditional Swiss food, which fueled our hikes. Not fancy but just right for a mountain hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We love that they pool their tips to go on a trip together once a year.

The room was a bit small, so with our two mid-size luggage open, walking space was very limited. We had to walk carefully so as not to get trip and fall accidentally.

The hotel was well located at the small town of Murren, having great views of the beautiful snowy mountains right at its door step when we visited the Bernese Overland in May. The room was cozy and clean, with a nice big balcony overlooking the street below. The staff were extremely friendly, making our 5 night stay really enjoyable. The room also came with daily breakfast which we enjoyed thoroughly. Even though without a lift, the friendly staff helped us to bring our luggage up to our room as we are in our sixties and had difficulty carrying them up the stairs.

The room got quite hot and stuffy at night, but there is a window you can open The pillows were too soft for us (all of Switzerland though seems to use these very soft pillows) We ordered cheese fondue at restaurant- still had a strong “wine” taste- it comes with burner though so Id recommend cooking out more of wine taste before eating!

The staff here were very lovely, they remembered it was our honeymoon and even decorated room with some fake flowers. The room came with free pass to gym and indoor swimming pool and could upgrade to use hot tub/spa there for extra 6 francs- sitting in outdoor spa watching the mountains was one of our favourite things we did! Restaurant has beautiful view of mountains and the aperol spritz cheesecake was amazing! Grocery store 5min walk away Overall a lovely stay

All were good. If I were to say one thing, it does not have elevator. For those that need to go to upper floors worth considering this. We had no problem.

Great location with a wonderful view of mountains and the valley below. Comfortable beds and near bathrooms. Private bathroom. Friendly staff and good breakfast. We also had lunch which was delicious. Overall it was well worth the value.

The view was top notch from the floor 3 balcony - simply moving!! The staff were welcoming and kind. We also enjoyed dining in the restaurant in the evening. Perfect location while in Murren. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We love that the town is car-free, but sometimes the trucks going by on the road were loud. I think this is due to the summer construction on the tramways

The views at Hotel Alpina are unmatched. This is a really cozy property with a fantastic patio and delicious restaurant. Our room faces the hillside since the view side was sold out - but still loved our room and our stay!

It was really the best place of my trip with fantastic view of the mountains. Services and staffs were amazing and friendly. The room was absolutely clean, spacious, and we would just want to sit in there look at the view the whole day long. Breakfast was great, with good selections. We really loved this place and wish we could stay longer. Will surely come back here in the future.

No complaints - only wish they had vegan options for breakfast. We are partly to blame as we didn’t let them know in advance which they would have accommodated.

Expensive, but so is everything in Switzerland. The room was quite small. Breakfast is pretty basic.

Clean room with a nice balcony, comfortable beds. Awesome views. Very friendly and helpful staff. There was no kettle in the room but the staff provided it upon request. You can visit the swimming pool which is a nice alternative for rainy days.

Having to leave.

I loved where it was. The village was beautiful. I used it as a base to explore the area. The staff were great and welcoming, and the view from the private verandah was exceptional. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. I loved "commuting" to various sights by the local bus and cable cars every morning and evening it handed to the magic of the area.

It’s the most spectacular view ever!! The staff was amazing and so helpful! Restaurant was wonderful too. Beds so comfortable!!! Again, this is the most amazing view you’ll ever see in your life. I can’t wait to come back again.
