The hotel was clean, staff were friendly. Also the hotel is in a decent area. Plus close to Le Vieux Street where u can stroll in the evening . There are a lot of restaurants , people are doing paintings, selling stuff. Close to Montreal Eye.

Breakfast was limited and the same every day. Even if nothing was cooked it would be easy to include some tomatoes or cheese along with different fruit.

Large rooms with high ceilings. Loads of room and artworks a big bonus especially when you have several days to discover and admire them.

A little more variety at the breakfast would have been nice but the croissants were very good. The elevator was a bit slow. There is too much to complain about.

The location was perfect. It was near attractions and there were many different restaurants nearby. It was also close to a Metro station that we used to get around. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The lobby was also interesting with unique objects and paintings.

There was no decaf coffee - maybe the breakfast bar could at least have soluble?

I stayed in room 112 which was a huge corner suite on the main floor. The noise from outside woke me up, especially around 3 am. when the bars closed down and there were so many sirens. The room was gorgeous but if you stay in this room then bring ear plugs.

This was a beautiful hotel and the location was perfect for walking around the port. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was croissants, yogurt and fruit. Nothing spectacular but that was fine with me.

The only negative is that the bathroom has no place for toiletry bags, and the carpet in rooms are a trap for dirt.

Great customer service. Bedding and towels are bright white and in great condition. Room and bathroom clean. Breakfast is continental, amazing croissants. Convenient location, overall amazing interesting hotel.

We were there in may 2024, but the room was too warm, even thought outside temperature at night was cool and comfortable. The air conditioner thermostat was limited and we could not set it below 24c to make the room cooler. Windows cannot open. There was no way to make the room cooler.

Location was perfect, right in the old town square. The staff was very warm and helpful! Hotel was beautifully decorated and rooms were large and clean.

A big disappointment is the Food at Breakfast very limited for this level of hotel . ... 1) the only protein was hard boiled.eggs or peanut butter .. 2)The only fruit available was red apples.in a bowl on the buffet 3) no cereal/granola etc. 4) hot water.and coffee served from a flask A.missed opportunity for owners and management

Excellent staff , informative and helpful , good customer care skills and local knowledge. Decor is excellent and unique with the Artwork displayed and furnishing styles

Our first room wasn’t as clean as our second room. There was dust in the room and mirrors and places the vacuum missed on the carpet. The continental breakfast could use some work. More variety needed and real espresso instead of an Instant machine. The dining room was nice. Also we found a strong septic smell in the hotel, in the lobby and occasionally in our rooms.

The location and history of the building. The decor. The rooms.

The start rating is not accurate, this is a good 3 star hotel, definitely not 4 stars. It has no restaurant which is a must for a 4 star property. The furniture is also very outdated with some of the wooden items shaking and creaking when trying to open them. Compared to other offerings in the city, this was not it sadly.

This delightful themed hotel had an absolutely amazing and professional set of staff who were very supportive with questions for first time travellers. Although they didn't help with a rebooking request due to unfortunate circumstances, they provided information throughout. The hotel also has very comfortable beds and pillows, and a very clean and spacious toilet. The American theme was also quite interesting.
