Wonderful view / room / staff. Loved the rain jackets - we only have super light ones so the heavy duty ones allowed us to hike along the cliffs during the storm comfortably. Staff were competent and friendly. I had a work emergency - need a wet signature on a document. The front desk person printed the document, I signed, and they scanned a document back to me. Made something that could have been stressful - seamless.

2nd bedroom - compared to the front master bedroom with its wraparound windows, this bedroom was dark and felt a cold energy. We weren't there to stay in the bedroom for 6 days though so it was not a big deal - it was just so extreme compared to the fabulous master room Staff at the morning cafe were not so friendly and warm considering they are in hospitality - quite cool not chatty, unless they knew already knew customers/friends. This was quite obvious - and somewhat disappointing as would expect this to be a natural part of the service. They still expected their tip though.

Simply that we were told we were "in luck" that a pet friendly room was available. Every single photo on your website has at least one dog in it. Anyway, minor detail, and we were thrilled with the accommodation.

Have been visiting Tofino for decades and this was our first experience at Pacific Sands ...What took us so long?? Truly the best of everything right here - and trust me, we have pretty much been everywhere. Your dogs will never want to leave either:):)

Available parking was erratic. Some days you could park in the same bank of spots, other days not. The on-site restaurant was a bit pricey given the pub food quality. The turn into the resort was a bit sudden to navigate when coming from Tofino. Other drivers often were right on your bumper. I don't know how you address that one.

Location was great. Access to restaurants and a small grocery was convenient. Access to hiking trails required short driving trips. As we are not surfers, we may stay in Ucluelet next time as access to the trails is more convenient. Accommodation was decent. Issue with the fireplace was resolved on the same day it was reported. Bed and bedding was excellent.

We loved everything. A small point, but I would recommend informing guests that composting bins are in the room. We did not see it until our last day as it was tucked back in the cupboard.

We loved the beauty of the property and view of the bay from our room. The room and the facilities available were wonderful as were the friendly and helpful staff. The resort was in an ideal location, near Tofino and Pacific Rim Park. Highly recommend this beautiful resort!
