This was our fourth stay at the Stone Hedge. Both the Safari and Royal rooms are lovely with very comfortable beds. The in room snacks, hot chocolate, coffee, bath robes, slippers and brandy are just a few of the little details that a weary traveller appreciates. This trip we returned from Spain and Iceland and nowhere we stayed came close to Linda’s fabulous breakfasts. Bonus that Brian will pick up and drop off at the airport if he is available.

Special little place in a great location, not too far from the airport. Host happy to receive us late in the evening. The room was small but really comfortable. Lots of little complimentary extras, which was nice to see. Outdoor space is lovely. The breakfast is a feast!!! The hosts couldn't do enough for you. We even left with some gorgeous homemade jam. Really great place.

Absolutely nothing.

Wonderful location in quiet street, gorgeous outlook from the room, exceptional furnishings in the Africa themed room and super quality bedding , the room opened onto a private courtyard with loungers under grape vines with a table for outside dining. Adequate bathroom facilities and the most wonderful couple who are your hosts. The best breakfast we ever had in a B&B ,served with a smile by Brian and prepared by ‘Chef’ Linda. To top it all off, Brian collected us from the airport and ‘taxied’ us into downtown Vancouver .

Close quarters with other guests right next door and bathroom down the hall. But did not share bathroom, so it was fine for overnight stay.

Nice location. Airport shuttle and port transport a big plus. Breakfast was wonderful.

This is our go to stay when we are flying out of YVR. The breakfast is fabulous. Brian provides rides to and from the airport. Sitting beside the pool enjoying a drink is a highlight… great way to start and finish your trip!

Nothing was not to like.

Breakfast was great. Best eggs benedict we have ever had. Variety of breakfast food was great. Pick up service at the Airport was quick and efficient. Brian provided lots of information about Vancouver and gave us a quick tour of the city on our way to the ship.

Too short of a stay

I was looking for a close and affordable hotel near YVR for a short 12 hour stay. Luck was in my side when I came across Stone Hedge. Brian graciously picked me at the airport. I was in the Royal Room and it was well appointed and comfortable. The facilities available was more like a resort if only I was staying longer, next time. At 7am the next morning Brian drive me back to the airport and there was a breakfast bag in the van with one of my favourites, carrot muffin. Highly recommend this place.

Bathroom was a distance from the room.

The host was super accommodating especially after an uber failed to pick us up and we were stranded about 1/2 hour away. He picked us up then, as well as to and from the airport more than once. Freshly prepared breakfast was delicious!!!

The room was a little dark but fine for our one night stay. The bathroom wasn't en suite but just down the corridor.

Our host was very helpful, a nice pool to relax in a lovely garden , the room was comfortable. Delicious breakfast served by the pool. to have a lift to the airport, too.

This is a lovely and unusual place. The host goes out of his way to make everything as nice as possible. We stayed in the African room. Very cool. And, the breakfast, served poolside, was superb!

They are easy to contact and very helpfull. They have a real nice location and they have good rooms. The shuttleservice is a good thing and you 'll get information about Vancouver as well. The breakfast is awsome.

I needed a room at the end of my holiday, before I flew home to the UK. Hotels in Vancouver were extremely expensive. So I chose the Stone Hedge. Price also included breakfast and an airport shuttle. So I booked it. What I got was far better than any hotel! Wonderful room, fabulous hospitality, super breakfast, great company! I also visited Steveston, a nearby coastal village which turned my “ airport home trip” into part of my holiday. Loved everything about Stone Hedge. A super find!

We liked everything at Stone Hedge .... from lovely greeting, to special little touches in the room, to the amazing breakfast prepared by Linda and served in the beautiful garden. Great location for the airport and for Steveston. Brian is very knowledgeable and his car to the airport service was an added bonus.

That we had to leave so soon.

Everything was an unexpected surprise, when Brian picked us up, all of his helpful information and his beautiful home, good breakfast (prepared by his wife Linda) until he drove us to the cruise ship pier.

The hosts, Brian and Linda, made sure that everything was perfect for our stay. Linda allowed us to drop off our luggage early, and then provided maps and information about Steveston where we spent the day until our Safari Suite was ready. We were blown away to discover the room came with a private garden patio, and the pool was just outside those doors. Linda made an AMAZING breakfast that included a fruit, yogurt and granola parfait, carrot muffins warm from the oven with homemade jellies made from the grapes and crab apples grown on their property. Then THE BEST Eggs Benedict we've ever had. Brian was the consummate server. The bed was comfy. There was a basket of snacks, and a mini fridge stocked with beverages for us. There was even a little brandy on the nightstand for a nightcap. Sitting out by the beautiful pool, surrounded by the tall green foliage made me feel like I was in paradise.
