Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CanadaThe only thing was that our room had low water pressure and the water rarely got hot. Warm enough for a shower but worried it would run out (did not). Told the host and he will look into it for the future. As I said, he’s eager to please his guests and is making updates as possible.
Spacious. Comfortable bed. Lovely services such as laundry, homemade baking at all times of the day, fridge In both your room and in a common guest kitchen where you could also make tea or coffee yourself and a sink where it was easy to fill your water bottles for the day. Breakfasts were good, buffet style. Would have liked cut fruit or berries for cereal but there were whole fruits like bananas and apples and oranges. Brown bread would have been appreciated. Owners are new, competent, quietly friendly, eager to please. Nice location to walk to the water and to the old town and restaurant area.

CanadaStairs - but we knew that when we booked it. Owners helped carry our luggage up for us, which is a nice added touch.
It was a lovely old Victorian mansion. The owners have added some lovely touches - drinks ( pop etc) you can buy, in a fridge in the kitchen area. Tea and coffee facilities. Baked goods placed strategically around the premises. Breakfast was delicious and varied. We booked a room and got a suite (a little old but comfortable - they said it will be renovated soon). Owners asked everyone how their accommodation was and how they could improve and acted on suggestions.

CanadaSonata Inn had a very welcoming atmosphere. Though the staff had just recently taken over the Inn, they did not fall short of being attentive to their guests. They worked hard to make sure our stay was more than comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional for both days, all deliciously made food, and the staff made sure that there would be enough food for all of their guests. This was overall a very homey stay and it did not fall short in impressing us.
