Very nice room with comfortable bed. Small bathroom with nice toiletries. Hairdryer available. Very good tea and coffee facilities in a kitchen space with a free afternoon treat available. Fridge available with drinks to buy . Freezer space and ice available for your use. Good breakfast with hot and cold options. Very friendly helpful staff. Parking available on site or in the very quiet street. Easy walking distance to the main Street in Charlottetown. .

We asked, when we reserved, for ground floor as I have difficulty with stairs, but we were placed on the second floor. Breakfast meats and hash browns weren't very warm.

They advertise a continental breakfast, but it was really a full breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage as well as juice, coffee, toast, pastries and fresh fruit. The building is very old and full if interesting nooks and architectural features.

After the first day or two, there was a stale smell in my bathroom. But the staff was helpful with this problem and the smell went away after a day or so.

The location was excellent, close to the water and to downtown. The breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful and attentive to any questions or concerns.

Very convenient location to shops and restaurants. Easy walk ! Hosts were wonderful and very welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was good with many choices. The pastries were fantastic as an extra afternoon snack 😀

We enjoyed our stay here. The Inn is in a quiet residential area near a park, yet a short walk to downtown Charlottetown shops and the theatre. Hosts were very helpful with luggage (stairs to 3rd floor room) and solving a technology issue. There were a variety of hot and cold selections for breakfast. Our room had two comfortable chairs in front of the tv. There was a kitchen on our floor to share with one other room.

Ease of check in and check out.. our room was so very nice and accommodating- there were three of us. Snacks and breakfast were so delicious with variations daily. A great central location too! We could walk all over town.

Not sure if this can be added to booking but a note as to which floor your room would be located as some people would not be able to do that many stairs to the third floor, great exercise however, if that can be shown when booking that may be helpful for some.

Lovely old historic home remodeled turning it into an extraordinary Bed and Breakfast, lovely rooms and a most excellent breakfast buffet, something for everyone for sure with lovely service as well, very helpful and courteous. Great location where one could walk for tours and restaurants, theatre etc.

AC unit was hard to program and filter needs to be cleaned.

Breakfast was bountiful and well presented. Nice dining area. The house was charming, very clean and organized. It was central to all we needed. Good parking space provided. Staff was very helpful and available.

The water pressure in the bathroom was low and the bathroom sink seemed a little clogged.

Any kitchen staff mingling in with guests to help themselves to breakfast between 7:30 & 10 pm is not a good idea. My room lacked ambiance for the price. Net curtains need to be sparkling white and remove those poor pictures and replace with PEI souvenir items screwed to wall. Bedside lamps need to be brighter. When a guest first sees the room.. several lamps should be on to make it most welcoming.

Breakfast and area exceptional and why I would stay there again. Hotel well away from traffic noise. Staff very keen to provide a service. Guest kitchenette with water /pop and microwave much appreciated. I also like the long outdoor ramp almost like coming aboard a ship. Adds nicely to the holiday atmosphere.

Very little. As it was older it creaked a little when people moved around in other rooms but it was not a big deal at all.

Although this was an older property it was quaint.. The rooms were a good size, the staff were superb,very accommodating and pleasant. There was a good breakfast served until 10am, which we appreciated.

Our stay at the Sonata Inn was just amazing. Clean, comfortable, welcoming. The Inn is beautiful and the owners are lovely people. It is probably the best location in Charlottetown. We stayed three nights and never moved our car. We walked to restaurants and all the sights.

The AC unit was noisy, but they are working on that.

Nice, comfortable room. A very nice breakfast was provided along with cookies in the afternoon. The staff worked really hard to make it a great stay.
