Wasn't impressed with the buffet breakfast. The "hot" food was cold. The scrambled eggs were tasteless. No toast. I asked about it, and the young waiter made me some, but it wasn't automatically offered!

Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. We were given a free upgrade to a deluxe king suite, which also included breakfast. When I asked why the free upgrade, the receptionist simply said that they like to please first time guests, if there is availability. Our room was very comfortably- it was 2 rooms made into one, so it was very spacious with 2 full bathrooms. The restaurant on site, Gio, was really good. Great menu and very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

The showers and pool needed a scrub. There was mildew buildup in both our room shower and in the pool area.

Location was great, bed sooooo comfy, loved the room and the Lounge room with snacks. Breakfast was good.

Being floor 2 and at the back, there was quite a bit of late night music from a couple of bars. To be expected in city centre but earplugs helped.

Comfortable, well located being walking distance from the waterfront and the citadel and everything between, friendly and accommodating employees.

Walking back uphill to hotel but then found way through to hotel from one street below .

Great location, , staff friendly and helpful . Hotel was lovely and clean throughout. Beds were extremely comfortable and room was spacious. Did notice good soundproofing as didn’t hear neighbours once . Favourite hotel so far while holidaying in Canada from New Zealand 🇳🇿

Happened to be located next to 2 night clubs that played loud music from 10 pm to 3:30 am on Friday and Saturday night.

Great location. Clean rooms, great shower, comfortable beds. Clean and large indoor pool. Wonderful breakfast at the hotel.

The front desk staff were very welcoming and accommodated our request for a late check out. Easy walk up to the citadel and down to the waterfront! Rooms are a good size.

I have nothing bad to say! It is located near the top of Halifax’ natural hill, so some may find that a walking issue, but we were fine.

This was a wonderful stay! The location was great…close to everything. The staff was tremendous…the bed was quite comfortable…the restaurant had a great breakfast offering…the bar and its staff were fun (try a Maker of the Mule!)

Parking was expensive, but that is to be expected in the city.

The staff were super helpful and kind (they even brought a microwave up to our room!). The hotel is quite nice and the facilities are very clean and pleasant. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was outstanding, which we didn't find was the case in other places in NS. The bar and patio are fabulous. The location of the hotel is PERFECT.

I didn't like that the restaurant was closed for a private function. We did eat in the bar, limited menu and the fishcakes were small and overcooked.

I liked the stress free environment that was definitely because of the staffs care. The cleanliness of the rooms and how there was no street noise , being on the second floor . I liked the complimentary water

Hotel was in a great location just up hill from the boardwalk. As it was our anniversary there was complimentary chocolates in our room as well as vouchers for a free drink in the bar. The room was of generous proportions and very comfortable bed.

The room was really quiet. The bed was super comfortable. Everything was clean. Great water pressure and hot water. There were nice amenities like coffee and wine glasses in the hotel room. The room had a desk where I could work and write as well as lounge chairs. The exercise room was small but was well stocked. The breakfast was really good. The staff - oh man, the staff - everyone was absolutely lovely! So friendly and helpful. Every single person I encountered at the hotel was just great! For example, my partner didn't like the poofy pillows and so I asked at the front desk for something with a lower profile. A few minutes later, an employee shows up at our room with a new pillow. Just felt so well taken care of.
