Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaIt was quite close to the train tracks, so we could hear the trains go past. Nothing too much but it was audible.. Otherwise, it was tricky finding the apartment and also tricky with the parking (couldn’t find the fob machine to open the last garage door… took an hour to figure it out!)
Nice apartment, fully functional and perfect for what we were looking for. Clean, comfortable bed, tv, kitchen… very happy thank you.

UkraineDefinitely was a hassle finding our rooms as there was no one at reception when we got in but we figured it out.
The rooms were really clean and they provided access to a lot of amenities that are really useful for a short stay.

PolandThe apartaments are located almost in heart of the city, with a view on CN Towers and city centre. You can get to the main attractions on foot or by a tram, that stops literally in front of the building. in the apartment there was everything you may need for the comfortable stay - kitchen with the full set of utensiles, washing & drying machines, fridge (huge:)), oven ... as this is the apartament, there is not breakfast / meals included, but you can have your own breakfast in front of the window with a view before exploring the city... The bed was very comfortable, the apartament despite the fact that it is in front of the road, was very quiet. There is a very well equipped gym also , open 24 hours. There is not standard reception, but the staff is easily accessible by chat and responded immediately. I also valu the fact that you used 1 code for everything, including your apartament / gym / any part of the building you need to get. from practical area: there are 2 shops just downstairs in the building and cafes / bistros at the short walking distance.

United StatesThe apartment is located in a three-tower residential building and there is no direct access to Tower A where Sonder is located. You'd need to walk through two towers, take two different elevators, and enter your code at multiple doors to arrive at your apartment. It was inconvenient and confusing, especially if you have kids or older people with you or traveling with heavy luggage. Another issue was the parking, there was no instruction on how to enter and we could not pay for it in the Sonder's app. The building security tried to help us but they couldn't resolve the issue on the spot so we decided to park in another building nearby to avoid paying $3 per hour.
We got a two-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms at a reasonable price. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were towels, shampoos, pots/pans, and coffee/tea machines.

United KingdomThe 504 street car was not running past the hotel due to recent road closures. It would have been nice to have known this beforehand - the roadworks had been in place for 3-4 months so it would have been v. easy to have let us know this so we could plan our days accordingly. Felt a little bit like this information was not being shared as it may have impacted our booking?
Good facilities and overall a positive customer experience with Sonder (our first time) - once we had located the washing machine and tumble dryer, which were well-hidden!

BrazilAll rooms - except bathroom - were poorly lightened. So, I had a hard time getting my make up done or even working from my computer at times. The gym does not have mats, so you better bring your yoga mat with you if that's a must. Liberty Village has only one way in and one way out, so it can be a bit tricky to get to downtown due to traffic. You can still take the GO train which takes about 20min. Streetcars can be as slow as walking downtown.
I would recommend this place for those willing to keep up with a daily routine while traveling. There is well equipped gym in the building. The kitchen of the apartment is well equipped. There is even a simple coffee machine that can be handy. There is a supermarket downstairs and some restaurants on the block in front of the building. It is a quite area with some shops and restaurants around. It is a few blocks from the Exhibition GO station. The bathroom was super clean and I loved the bath tube.

Canadalayout and signage in a parking garage.
This is very nice property. We had a car so cannot comment about public transport. My only issue was with a parking garage. It has very confusing layout so at one point it took us 15min to find and exit ramp from P4 and then P3, as there are no signs.

United KingdomThe only slight downside was the walk to the apartment is complicated quite long with different steps and lifts but once you get the hang of it it’s ok
The flat was brilliant. We had a spacious apartment with its own utility room which was so useful and large balcony. It’s in a great location a 15 minute walk to the buzzing area of Ossington Avenue with great shops and eateries and Sweaty Bettys bar a local favourite. Would definitely stay here again as it was a fab home from home during the film festival
