Confusing check-in. Mountain view was a muddy stop bank. Parking area card reader broken so couldn't access. Thermostat didn't seem to work, room was very warm. Coffee provided but no cafetierre for the percolator.

We were in a 2-bedroom suite with spa. We loved having 2 bathrooms. Everything worked, was clean and the beds were comfy. It was really quiet and had nice view on the forest and mountain.

Great rooms and plenty of underground parking. Just remember to check in at the other lodge before parking at Palliser as it’s not directly next door (we went in off-season so the Palliser Lodge reception was closed)

I would have preferred a room in Golden, rather than 10km away.

Very nice room, but it wasn't easy to find in the large building. The lodge is 10km outside of Golden and there was only one choice for a place to eat dinner without driving back into Golden.

No notice when booking they wére doing construction on front entrance or re roofing the building. Had to take own garbage out and there were no recycle bins in underground pArking.

Felt like a home away from home. Had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub on the balcony, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom.

For a "king size' room it was rather small and poorly equipped (1 wine glass). Some rooms have good views but ours had none.

The 2 doors to go through to get into the room made it difficult to get bags in and especially to use the trolley to get bags and boxes in. Door stops would have helped as the doors were self closing. There was no desk in the room and we found the whole room very cramped. The bed should have been just a queen size and not an oversized king bed. We were travelling and only wanted an overnight stay then hit the road again early next day. I did not realize it was 15 km drive up the mountain when I booked.

Only one mirror (in the bathroom) in the whole suite. Made it challenging for 4 people to get ready at the same time.

The front desk didn’t give us the keypad code for room door with keycard (didn’t think it would have pin pad). Had to pack all of our luggage back down to our vehicle to go back to main lodge to get room code. No attendants at other lodges, only main lodge. Room was missing coffee mug (thankfully house keeping was on floor to give us another one). No air conditioning.

The scenery and location was amazing! Nothing like waking up and enjoying the peace and quiet with all the beautiful scenery and a great cup of coffee. Bed was super comfortable and we had amazing sleeps! Tons of walking trails and mountain biking trails. Gondola is just a quick walk or drive away to go up the mountain. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

There's no staff except at the main building, perhaps half a km away.

Well, this place is far out of the town of Golden, but with all the highway construction going on along the Banff highway, it's hard to find reasonably priced accommodation. There was a small outdoor sauna outside the building which is a time-share facility most of the year. I'd suggest that guests might enjoy a trip up the gondola, to hike down and on along the ski hills, to see the grizzly bear, or to do the via ferrata (the iron road), an exciting climbing route up Terminator 1, better and more reasonably priced than the via ferrata in Banff townsite. This type of climb is done by using fixed rungs and you are clipped onto a cable, so it's perfectly safe and the views of the Purcell Range and the nearby Rocky Mountain range are superb on a clear day as we had.

Room was very tired looking. Dishwasher was difficult, as soap tabs wouldn't drop from dispenser, so hand washing was required. Front desk staff did their job but weren't the friendliest or most welcoming.

We paid a resort fee but because it was between ski season and summer season all the amenities on the property were closed and not available to use, they were opening the day after we left so I felt we should have been refunded that fee. We paid for things they didn't have available for us to use.

Well no breakfast is included as it's an apartment with a full kitchen, you make your own meals which was great for us, exactly what we wanted.
