I wasn’t the one that attended. I booked this for my husband, our so and two friends for their sturgeon fishing charter. The guys told me it was a great place! Definitely would go back again! They played pool til late lol Location was great as well. All of the hotels in Hope are absolutely awful, so we we’re very pleased to find this!

Just one bathroom can be a challenge went staying with a larger group. Nothing else to note about things we didn't like.

Very unique place. Lots of space inside and wonderful views from the balcony. We just stayed on night got there fairly late and had to leave really early so can't say much about the location otherwise.

it was a little ways out of town, but that’s not a problem if you have a vehicle. we were on bikes, so it was a short ride into town.

this place is beautiful and unique. I would recommend staying here if you were with a large group. There’s a pool table, a huge kitchen in an amazing view from the balcony.

No plug for the bath. Curtains very thin (might be a problem in summer). The kitchen was huge but utensils etc a bit impractical - couldn't find teaspoons and other basics. Not a big deal though.. I wouldn't advise staying here with small children as there are lots of ornaments and other delicate items

Incredible place. We loved staying here. We stopped off for two nights on the way from skiing to Seattle. Not much to do in the area but we were just chilling after skiing so it didn't matter. Our kids thought the place was magical. TV area very snug. Pool table fantastic. Beds comfortable. We slept really well

No air conditioning although plenty of fans were provided (but still hot in summer due to it being wooden lodge)

The one bathroom was equipped with a beautiful claw foot tub, pedestal sink and a wall of dresser, which was nice. However, it would have been better if there was another half or full bathroom given the size of the lodge.

I and four friends stayed at Owl Street lodge for a weekend. Prompt detailed communication from the owner along the way leading up to the check-in. The lodge was spectacular exactly as seen in the photos. There was a welcome sign at the foyer which was a pleasant surprise. We had the entire top floor of the building with no neighbours. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, salt, sugar, paper towel, all utensils, dishware, etc. All the usual small appliances plus a good brand air fryer and Ninja blender. There were two different areas for eating and dining not including the patio, plus two separate areas for sofa or reading. The bath towels and bed linen were of good quality. We had breakfast at the private patio (third eating area) to take in the beautiful scenery and fresh mountain air. There were a lot of unexpected nice touches in the lodge such as a telescope for stars glazing on the patio, antique black vinyl player with plenty of records to choose from, antique lamp, antique radio, a lot of books and magazines, pool table, different type of wine glasses, neat decorations in the lodge everywhere you look, and more. The owner's wife was on site when we first arrived and parked our car at the parking lot. She showed us to the door of the lodge. We met the owner when we checked out. He was friendly and pleasant to share the details of the lodge. We all felt comfortable and enjoyed our stay at Owl Street Lodge. It was the right touch without over or under delivering. Thank you to Max and his wife for making our stay memorable.

The shower screen was a little unwieldy, as it's providing complete wrap around protection. But that is a minor gripe and all I can think of.

This is a great place to stay. If I was rich enough I would build myself a place like this. It's a bit different from your usual accommodation and we loved it. Hope town is a few minutes away in the car and there is also easy access to local beauty spots and trails such as Flood Falls and Silver Lake. Max was helpful and even fixed my glasses for me.

Since there were 8 of us, an additional bathroom could have been better. There was only one bathroom, so we needed to schedule who goes in first so that we can keep up with our schedule for the day. Max was so accommodating when we asked for a little extension during our check-out time.

Spacious parking was available at the area and slippers were also available at the entrance of the lodge. The place offered contactless check-in. The welcome note at the entrance made us feel was a nice touch. The place has an open concept design. It was located at the second floor of the café owned by them. It was clean and spacious. We travelled with our 6 children. My wife and I stayed in their private room while the rest of the kids were in the open space and shared the 3 beds (good enough for comfortable sleeping.) Kitchen was well equipped with needed things to cook for the whole family. We were able to cook dinner and breakfast for 8 of us. And there was a dish washer which made cleaning convenient for us. Place look exactly the same as the on line pictures. Our children enjoyed playing the billiard table and the board games. We were able to play music in their unique player (which was an added bonus). They prepared some goodies in a tray. We love the balcony overlooking the beautiful mountain. Outdoor furniture was set up for our convenience. Dinning table in the lodge was big enough for 8 of us, not to mention the other 4-seater table (breakfast nook) near the kitchen. Electric fans were provided in case of hot weather. It was cold when we went there, so there was no need to use them. We saw one air conditioning unit inside the private room. Linens were clean and fresh. The towels were white and fresh as well. Under the lodge is a coin laundry ($3) and a café which caters to the needs of the people in the area.
