Weirdness in changing the rooms. I shouldnt have to point it out to them that open switch wire is not safe for a family with kids stay. At first they tried to charge us. We reached a point in discussion where i was considering booking another stay with airbnb as they refused to return my paid amount and any extra they were asking was more than aurbnb charges. It worked out in the end, though.

I booked family room, we were given two rooms on two different location in property, one of them was very dirty looking (the one with kitchenette) and other one had switch missing and broken stuff in it. When we asked for change as it wasnt safe to stay in room with open electricals, after many discussions and multiple calls to manager, we were given a challet for whole family. At first we were being charged for the change as the single challet is costlier to book. However when i raised safety concern in our current assigned room, the excess rates were waives off. So, thw first cottages left lots to be desired. But the replacement cottage was really good and comfortable.

Well maintained from the outside, the rooms could use some improvement. Mattress are a bit worn out and could feel the springs, we could hear pretty much all conversations going on adjacent rooms.

The 30 minute drive out of Jasper is quite tedious if you are travelling to the area to explore places along the Icefields Parkway. Our room wasn’t made up in between the nights we stayed

I did not like the housekeeping at the property. They do the absolute bare minimum. We stayed there 3 nights and were low on shower gel and needed new towels. I told the front desk. The housekeepers went into our room to give us clean towels, they did not add shower gel as requested, and they did not even make the bed. They literally only switched the towels. Maybe this is typical in a lodge like this but I would have expected housekeeping to include a bit more than that.

The location of this lodge is absolutely wonderful. Beautiful surroundings. Close to both Hinton and Jasper. Quiet and serene. I loved the trails around the property. The food at the onsite restaurant was delicious although very expensive for such small portions. The reception staff were super friendly.

The food at the restaurant was very good but the service was very slow. We waited over an hour between our starter and main course. I hope this was just a blip, but the staff could have dealt with it better. The waitress kind of started avoiding us because I think she was embarrassed and it was a bit awkward.

Beautiful quiet trails near the property to explore. Love the location--right outside the parkgates, close to the Folding Mountain Brewery, Miette hotsprings, and Switzer Provincial Park, and an hour closer to Edmonton for the drive there and back, which really makes a difference! The views are superb. And we got upgraded to a beautiful cabin, so there really aren't any complaints!

There was basically no service, I had one bar at times but usually there was no service at all. The walls were also very thin, I could hear our neighbours whisper or cough which made us feel a bit uncomfortable.

Location was great with amazing views and lots of green space outdoors. Loved that there were trails right at the lodge to walk. Rooms were cozy and well kept. Also great parking.

I stayed in room 28 property facing and it was located above their kitchen. The fans would vibrate my bed and woke me up in the mornings. In addition I could hear the kitchen and their music/voices past 11pm which the main reason I booked this place was for quiet and peace. Also in the morning the smell of food would fill my room which also woke me up. No bike rentals at property. Also the shower took 7-8 min for the water to warm up and it never got hot with low pressure.

The wooden lodges were beautifully maintained. The breakfast was good and it was exceptionally clean. It was safe and the 40 min drive to Jasper was beautiful.

The outside area and the houses are well maintained, inside however you can see that it’s „glory days“ have long passed. If I had to guess, I would say it was „new“ end of the 90s. The photos hide this very well. The sofa for the 3rd/4th guest is maybe not that old, but should be replaced, as the mattress is simply no longer existing and you feel every mattress spring, while the sofa is making loud noises every time you move. We considered going up to the reception about the sofa issue when we made the beds late in the evening, but then did not do it, as all rooms / apartments will most likely have the same sofa. So if are looking for a place for 3/4 people, this sleeping situation is something I really cannot recommend. I believe the walls between the single apartments are rather thin you will hear every noise from next door. However, we were lucky that the apartment next door was empty.

We were looking for an affordable place to stay to visit Miette Hot Springs in the morning and found this nice mountain lodge. We hat an appartment away from the highway, so it was very quiet. It was equipped with basic things to prepare a simple breakfast (what you need as there are no cafes or shops within 50 minutes driving distance except the hotel restaurant). Very friendly staff and a nice bar with outside terrace including a phenomenal Mountain View.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay in the Canadian Rockies! Loved everything about it. This place was recommended to by my parents (both of whom had stay the year prior) and cannot recommend this place enough. It was cozy, quite, comfortable, and lovely. I would definitely stay here again!

Not much, this place is great. I guess we could hear the noise from the restaurant below while in our room, however it closes early enough that it was quiet by the time we ent to sleep.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It had a gas fireplace and an incredible view looking out into Jasper National Park. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant had amazing food, cocktails and a large wine selection.
