Only stairs to get to upper story room. Was hard to drag our suitcase up the stairs.

Location was great. Lovely view of the bay, and a private balcony with comfy chairs perfect for viewing the sunset. Room was spacious and comfortable. Loved the complimentary large refillable glass bottle of drinking water.

We did not like the ground floor balcony right in front of parking lot and entrance. Too much traffic in front of our room! Would have liked a complimentary breakfast!

Internet is basically none existent. TV was basically unwatchable with static lines through it. For those of you that need to work via internet, the LTE in that area was thankfully really good. The chairs on the balconies need to be replaced, they are badly weather beaten

The hotel bar was not available to us as guests without paying a $50+ fee to gain entry to a show we did not want to see. The hotel offers no other facility to enjoy a drink, and there's no other bar in town. We decided to eat in the hotel's restaurant but that sits right above the bar so when the show started up the atmosphere in the restaurant was destroyed by loud thumping music from below!

The location is amazing being right on the sea front in Rocky Harbour. Our room was large and comfortable with a large outside terrace. Staff were very pleasant.

Hotel is lovely but room requires a little refresh… the carpet in the room is very outdated and unattractive and the room smelled musty when we entered. The TV is small, old and has a terrible picture. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.

Seafood at the resturant was overcooked with little taste and the steak seemed to be cooked in vegetable oil as it was greasy

The rate was very high. If we were to come back we would rent accommodations elsewhere and come to the bar for entertainment. The bar prices were also very high. Felt like we were constantly overcharged for things due to it being a tourist trap. We were there for a family funeral.

The front desk staff person who greeted me did not smile at me when I approached the desk, not a good welcome. At check out the next day I overheard the same staff person make a remark about how "Room *** hasn't even checked out yet"....I was the room they were talking about. It made me feel as if I was doing something wrong by staying to the check out time! No smile and thank you for staying, and I was my grumpiest self then too....so staff need to work on their friendliness.

The room was fantastic and I was so pleased to have an ocean view! GORGEOUS - Rocky Harbour is spectacular. The room was great, the complimentary coffee was delicious. I have no complaints on the space at all!

Main dining room (not pub). Charcuterie board was not good, just meats and crackers from local grocery store. Had one previous night at another restaurant in same area and it was fantastic.
