This property is a little out of town which is the only down side

Our group of 4 stayed here 1 night. We received a very friendly welcome and fresh baking. They accommodated our early check in request. The rooms were tidy and clean and the property had lots of unique features to admire. Would recommend

Not a dislike, but more a warning for European visitors or those with no/limited mobile service, there is a note on the door with a number to call to check in. For us this would have been very expensive, luckily the manager came by as we were wondering what to do. Just be aware of this.

Lovely property in a beautiful location on the lake side. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The motel is unassuming from the kerb, however the back is lovely and there are BBQ’s for guests to use and picnic tables. The other guests were incredibly welcoming and it’s clear this is very much a repeat visitor motel. Despite this we had a great time and would definitely return.

Our hostess Trish was delightful and very helpful. The property was was picturesque, done up with antiques and charming older style furniture with lovely planter boxes outside each doorway. Shower was good too👍. The chocolate bar and gum were a nice touch during check in as well. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Trish!

No breakfast provided. Some rooms had kitchen facilities. We were provided with a package with breakfast bars. What impressed me it was unigue. locally-owned Rural motel only 5mins from down town Kimberley. Bonus, Real wine and drink glasses provided to sip outside in the evening sun under the gazebo.

Trish and her husband were very freindly and easy to talk to. The stay was comfortable and the location quaint. I would recommend this Motel to anyone who is traveling that way ;)

A friendly welcome at reception started the stay. It was a quiet location and at the edge of town, with nicely appointed rooms. To top it off, there was an exceptionally friendly orange cat who bade us farewell.

Although the motel is a bit far out of Kimberly, It’s a very good value property .

The host , Trish was lovely ! We arrived late and were greeted with a fresh baked loaf of banana bread ! The room was roomy, clean and has a fridge and microwave.

Very gracious, welcoming at check-in. Room had great old world Euro decor with very comfortable beds. Bathroom and bathroom clean as clean could be.. A great overnight. If we ever visit Kimberly again we would love to stay here again.

The A/C fan didn't cool at all, so we opened a screened window.

Just a small thing, not their fault really, but the property needs a wee bit bigger sign that’s visible from both directions of the road, as the road out front is kinda fast, busy and it can be hard to turn quickly into the drive without a bit of notice!

A little update would go a long way. I love the uniqueness of the Motel, however, I feel a coat of paint would really help. We left to go out for dinner and couldn't lock our door. A few little items to fix.

Breakfast not provided. We had a room with a kitchenette. Made our own breakfast. Very unique Motel. Rooms are nice and clean and it is a lovely location.

Very very clean and amenities like extra plugs for devices and clock on the nightstand make you feel pampered and give this motel an edge. The decoration is unique and picked for each room . We’ve been welcomed with a homemade banana cake , really a lovely and very comfortable experience . Thank you.

The property is very close to downtown Kimberly but the motel is very close to the highway so expect to hear some traffic noise. Mostly quiet at night though.

Trish the owner was very welcoming and friendly and accommodating. Their place was decorated and kept up beautifully. A fresh loaf of banana bread awaited us upon arrival.

It was fine and lived up to our expectations. We had no complaints.

The location was good, on the highway to Kimberley. We wanted to get that far before resuming our trip the next morning and were quite happy with the motel. The owners provided us with a list of restaurants in town and gave us a loaf of banana bread which was appreciated after being on the road for several hours.

It's like more like cozy museum, but practical one. Kitchen in a room was pretty good feature. I could prepare basic meal. Banana loaf for breakfast - nice gesture (I didn't order any breakfast).

There's nothing that we didn't like. If I had to write something though, it would be nice if they offered a breakfast. I read the reviews and many people commented about banana bread or other baked goods that were left for them in their rooms but we didn't get any.

I liked how this motel had a warmth and charm about it, being a more "mom & pop" type of place as opposed to a chain motel. It had a full kitchen (complete with a gas cooktop) and felt like home. I liked the fact that it had a bathtub, which is important when traveling with kids. Outdoors, there was a gazebo where you could enjoy a nice dinner, as well as a BBQ area. Our favorite part was the hot tub! Even though it was quite hot outside, we found the hot tub to be very relaxing and enjoyable. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The gentleman helped us get the hot tub uncovered. The lady gave my daughter a chocolate bar as we were getting ready to leave, which was a nice gesture. There is also a friendly cat named O.J. that my daughter loved playing with. This motel exceeded all my expectations! For such an affordable price, they really go above and beyond to make your stay fun & enjoyable!

We've never experienced anything that we didn't like.

We stay here every year. Cleanest motel we've ever stayed at. Hosts go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The antique eclectic furniture and decor is exceptional and extras like wood moldings make this motel feel more like a home than a motel.
