Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomBooked diner at Morton’s Grill, advertised as falls view, all we had a view of was the fir trees obstructing the view of the falls. 300 pounds sterling for 2 with no starter or pudding, way overpriced without the view.

United Arab EmiratesDuring our recent stay, we observed that the hotel's interior required significant refurbishment. We experienced several inconveniences, including a leaking bathroom roof in our initial room, necessitating a room change. Unfortunately, the replacement room also developed a leak on our final day. Additionally, the beds were excessively soft, preventing us from finding a comfortable sleeping position. It is worth noting that all rooms were equipped with only two queen-sized beds, and no king-sized beds were available.
The hotel's location and view are its primary selling points.

United StatesRestaurant was ok. Don’t know if it’s me but every morning we would come into a large dining area with only a few people there and were always seated very close to another table. My wife and I would look at each other and were at a loss as to why this was done. Even for dinner at the Morton’s Steak house the same was done. I personally feel it’s nice not to be on top of another table of diners when I go out to eat. Especially if there is plenty of space. The Morton’s Steak House was ridiculously expensive and they “butchered” our dinner.

United KingdomThe room was a bit dated with a few defects, one of the sockets wasn't fully attached to the wall and the window was missing a handle crank so it couldn't be used. We'd also paid extra for a high room to see the falls but the room only being on the 7th floor meant some of the trees partially covered the view. I'd put in a special request to be put on the highest floor possible for the best view. We were still able to enjoy the falls though, especially at night when it's lit up.
The staff were lovely and the restaurant serves some of the best food we've ever had, even if it is a bit pricey I would say Mortons is worth a try. The room was very spacious and had two very comfortable double beds. Breakfast in the morning was also amazing and I would definitely recommend the buffet breakfast.

Loved the view from our hotel window. The hotel was good for kids. Loved our housekeeper, Marie. Also, we were very happy with the gentleman at the front desk who was able to add an additional night to our stay and gave us the same room rate for Labor Day weekend.

South Korea1. Booking.com advertised that all rooms had a river view, but it turned out that a river view wasn't the same as a falls view. The problem is that it could be easily misunderstood that a river view is actually a falls view. I had to upgrade and pay more. 2. System is weird. It keeps charging, then Credit card company sends text message about it. I don't know why it has to be that way. The reason I heard from people at front desk was the hotel system old (outdated).
