It is always easier to have an elevator and our rooms were in the top floor. But is part of staying in that of Quebec City.

Having a clear space for arrival by car in a busy neighborhood is a super "plus." The location is great for walking around the city. Breakfast was okay, but we do not normally eat much breakfast.

The age of the building made it uneven in convenience and pleasantness. I had to be moved from my initial room, which had a sewer smell.

The historic building was modified to improve comfort and modern convenience, but the unique quirkiness of each space made it a memorable hotel.

Perfect location. Within walking distance of everything in old Quebec. Parking was provided in a secure lot within a few minutes' walk of the hotel. Staff had a way of making us feel that we were the most important guests in the house.

The hotel is historically old looking and decorated within beautifully with an old historic feel. The staff were just so helpful and friendly it was always a pleasure to return back to see a happy smiling face. The location is great with a short walk to anywhere within old Quebec.

Had to pay for parking at $22.00 a day

The weather, but not much they could have done about that. However, they did supply umbrellas which was one of those details you wouldn't have even thought of!

Everyone was so pleasant and courteous! This was our first trip to Quebec City celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. We will definitely be back!

The historic building was beautifully maintained. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. Having a rooftop area to bring food and drinks was a nice addition, particularly since the weather was nice.

If you have any type of physical disability it would be tough to stay here.

It is very cozy in a historic building and the bed/pillows are very comfortable. The location is wonderful, especially because you’re a short walk to anything in old town without being right in the middle of it. Staff was wonderful.

The street was noisy in the evening and our room was not quiet. Perhaps a non-street side option would have been quieter.

There is nothing negative about the hotel other than not having an elevator but it is only 4 stories tall.

We originally requested a room on an upper floor. However, due to a recent foot injury I was limited in the amount of stairs I could handle. There wasn't an elevator at the hotel. The desk manager took me to several rooms that were available on the first floor and we were able to select a very comfortable alternate room. The hotel was in a very convenient location only 2-3 blocks from the Hotel Frontenac. The staff at the front desk were very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. The rooms were immaculate. Our reservation included a full breakfast which was personally made per our request each morning and were delicious.

location and room are quite good. the only issue for my wife and myself was lack of elevator. actually it was mainly our problem due to our age.
