Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe room felt a bit dark, it had black patterned carpet, black furniture & not a lot of overhead lighting, so if you dropped something it was challenging to find it. Also, the coffee maker in the lobby didn't make good tasting coffee, thankfully there was a Nespresso in our room.
Staff was friendly and helpful, and they speak English very well. Room was quite large and there were separate bathtub & shower. Well stocked minibar in room if you wanted a drink or snack. We were given 1 free drink ticket for bar downstairs! Turndown service was provided nightly & they provided a carafe of water & 2 little chocolates. We would definitely come back. 😁

United StatesThe public areas were a little small. There were three small conversation areas to meet friends or enjoy a cocktail and all three were often in use.
Very nice buffet. We only ate there once and arrived late. Saw they had quiche the following morning. Great location for walking directly to board our cruise or to explore Old Quebec.

What a great place to stay in Quebec. A beautifully presented hotel located close to the old quarter, restaurants & walks. Of course we were very happy to accept an upgrade & enjoy a lovely big room. There was a lounge relax & make yourself a coffee. Charming staff.
