Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Canada$300 per night for a small room and that was for Sat/Sun/Mon! No hot tub and no mats in the gym.
Comfy beds and sofa. Free onsite parking. Free wi-fi was reliable. Free lemon water in the lobby all day. Walking distance to bars/restaurants/groceries. Short drive to outlet mall for shopping. Easy access to the 417.

CanadaInside the room, everything looked old and outdated. The bathroom was small and packed. We reserved and paid for the room through the Booking.com website. According to the description, breakfast was supposed to be included. However, when checking in, we were told that the hotel only covers two of us, and the other two people must pay $15 each. This was very embarrassing and unprofessional. The breakfast was very basic, with a limited variety of items offered.
The hotel is located in a good spot and has easy access, although it is far from Ottawa's downtown. The room was clean and had the minimum required facilities.

CanadaI did not like how someone worked in the hotel is coming to ask if we want to clean the suite without even knock the door. She just opened the door, you know sometime people forget to put the paper outside at the hand of the door. I think also if you can put a mirror in the living room and one at least in the bedroom that will be perfect because the mirror just in washroom.

CanadaThey said they did not put in our reservation until yesterday as they said it was missed and the manager had put it in manually before we came. I had booked in early November. I wanted room service early for supper and it did not start until 5 pm. Breakfast was supposed to be included and the restaurant was closed for renovations on January 1st.
Room was clean. Transferred us to another room as they said the noise would be more around the room we booked. They also gave us a discount which was awesome due to the fact breakfast was supposed to be included and wasn't. My husband is a diabetic so they did give us a muffin, a piece of banana bread and an orange juice which was nice. Though they had no healthy options.

CanadaWe only had coffee in room when we first arrived. It was not replenished after our first morning, we stayed 3 nights. We asked the housekeeper to put some coffee supplies in our room, but she must've forgotten. Our last night, I asked for coffee at the front desk and it was supplied, but I forgot about cups. For the price of the rooms, I would expect a continental breakfast would be available.
The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The shower had a nice rain head. Towels were plentiful. Location was good for us, close to family.
