TV controls were a bit confusing, got them in the end. Some things not open off season.

A grand, luxurious apartment, two balconies with seating, fireplace with a wood stock and kindling, jacuzzi, perfect.

Our accommodation was quite dark and very dated. The kitchen seemed clean but the cooker did not consistently work and it was necessary to clean the coffee machine before using it. The bathroom and bedroom would both have benefited from a thorough clean as there were thick cobwebs at ceiling level and the edges of the floor were fluffy and hairy. I certainly would not have walked on them in bare feet! The on1site shop and laundry was permanently closed.

Spectacular views throughout the resort. Douglas Firs is located 1km outside Banff and it was a lovely downhill walk to reach the town. The bus ticket provided by the resort on our arrival came in very handy for the uphill return journey. The staff were very pleasant. The nearby restaurant at the adjacent resort was excellent.

The position of the tv overhanging one access side of the double bed. This made it difficult to access the bathroom in the night and required "limbo dancing" round it. I actually didn't feel confident I wouldn't knock the tv off the wall.

The room was compact, but we only stayed one night so that was ok.

Loud humming/buzzing noise 24 hours a day from presumably the ventilation system. The fridge was old and very noisey. The lighting was gloomy due to trees crowding the window and the darkish decor.

The location, room layout, bed comfort and hot tubs were all good. It's a short walk or free bus ride into Banff central. Lovely hikes and wildlife on the doorstep.

Outdated, needs to be refreshed. Sofa was very soft, dishwasher was at least 40 years old and inefficient. There were very little material to cook and too few plates / glasses / cutlery even for 2 people. Pool was closed.

Quiet and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Housekeeping staff very friendly. Easy access to Banff center.

Had trouble with hotplate controls because of missing and/or loose bolts. Toilet got blocked but was fixed quickly. Facility starting to show it's age and in need of maintenance and sprucing up in some areas. No laundry facilities.

Good views. Quiet location. Full kitchen facilities. Was next to stop for shuttle bus to town centre and the Resort provided free passes for the bus.

The room was clean and comfortable and large. We found the kitchen handy. Staff were friendly and excellent. Location was handy for Tunnel Mountain trails and there was a bus stop right outside with the hotel providing free bus passes making getting in and out of central Banff very easy.

Staff greeting on arrival was mediocre. Rooms were clean but broken furniture, and worn down. No instructions for fire place or hotel amenities. Had to find out by trial and error and asking staff who were not necessarily kind when asking questions. Curt I would say.

Housekeeping staff were great. Loved being close to nature and view was amazing. Came for the sights.

Stove hot plates except one didn’t work we were in 203. Also the room was v warm had to sleep with windows open. Also undercover parking was appreciated.

It was close to Banff village to attractions . We like getting our beds made and supplied with fresh towels. We didn’t get to use any of the resort facilities as we were out most of the time.

This was a 3 person stay. We needed to ask for bedding and the 2nd bed which was a sofa, not a sofa bed, less comfortable.

Lodge is a distance from town, quieter end, backs onto walking trails, bus stops outside with a free pass for guests. Lovely views of the mountains from the living area. We were 3 adults though this would be a great place with kids. An outside BBQ for all guest use.
