The staff was really friendly and couldn't do enough for you. I have a food allergy and notified the staff of that at breakfast on our first morning and the next day when I sat down for breakfast, they said "your breakfast is being prepared" without me having to remind them or anything, which was really great. That kind of service extended to all staff we interacted with

Not a thing

The hotel is so clean and well appointed; our room was perfect. The staff is incredible and provided answers to every question with smiling faces. Breakfast in the dining room is an added plus, very elegantly served. The location is great, just a straight 25-30 walk to the old city. And, there are so many restaurants and green spaces right near the hotel. By the way, it’s a training hotel so everything is done efficiently and perfectly. Also, underground parking is available.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The breakfast offerings, both hot and cold, were extensive and of high quality. The room was well-designed with modern furnishings and lighting. The balcony with table and chairs offered an opportunity to enjoy the view and relax outdoors. The room and all common areas were clean and well-maintained. The location is superb for exploring most parts of the city. The Sherbrooke metro line is at the corner.

Not so great: Bed is small and hard, loud AC and breakfast stops at 9:00 which is too early for guests on holidays. With no amenities (gym, pool et ) it was a tad expensive.

Nothing really - odd flooring in bedrooms is unusual but didn’t really affect our stay after initial surprise.

Great location for exploring the city without the hassle of the old town traffic. Very helpful and friendly staff - it is a training institute but still feels like a proper hotel. Spacious rooms and well equipped- albeit the flooring is a bit unusual/ industrial in appearance. Great value parking on site. Very walkable location for exploring the city and lots of neighbourhood restaurants on your doorstep. Métro station next door. Excellent breakfast every day in hotel restaurant and great service. Would certainly use again without doubt.

The bed was clean and high quality material but the comforter was too hot/thick for me and was uncomfortable for me for most of my stay. I even turned the AC on to lower the temperature of the room but had the same experience. Housekeeping/maintenance staff were not as friendly as the front desk staff.

Floors of renovated showers are very slippery. Hard edges make it dangerous for young children.

The recent renovations are fantastic. The location, as always, can't be beat. Staff was extremely helpful, even when I got into a literal tight spot in the parking lot. Went above and beyond to help. They helped us solve an issue with room placement as well.

the staff was very pleasant and more than helpful with whatever we needed or asked of them. The hotel is well located, and has a lovely breakfast (included) each day. Our rooms were very well appointed and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We had not been to Montreal before and were not sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised.

The room was on the "cozy" side (i.e., small), but we were comfortable in two queen beds and it had everything we needed.

I stopped overnight in two directions on a long-distance trip through Montreal in an EV. Being able to charge at the hotel overnight made a real difference in my travel plans. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was cute and clean. Bathroom was perfect. I often am annoyed by the sound of hotel minifridges going on and off throughout the night. The drawer style fridge was very quiet. I appreciated that it contained two refillable glass bottles of water instead of single-use plastic.

I did not know that the restaurant and bar were going to be closed during our entire stay. It would have been nice to have a few drinks in the bar to plan for the evening. The hot breakfast items were also very cold both days during breakfast.

The hotel was very clean and all the staff were wonderful. One of the front desk receptionist was very sweet and made a balloon animal for my daughter. Overall a good stay.

Quality of the coffee in the restaurant

Very helpful front desk. Extremely easy parking. Fast elevators. Clean, light, very pleasant and well-designed rooms – everything you need. Hotel atmosphere quiet and relaxed – while location was right in the midst of the most wonderful neighborhood, e.g., a few blocks from the incredibly long run of eclectic shops and cafes on Saint-Laurent. Also amazingly convenient to have a metro station right underneath the hotel itself. Breakfast buffet was good and very convenient. The hotel is staffed by hospitality students, but they are total pros! The service was better, friendlier and more attentive than at many much pricier hotels. Moderate cost + excellent hotel experience + location made this a complete win for us. We will be back!
