Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThe area was quite noisy both inside and outside the hotel. A lady working at the front desk was mean to a guest who wanted special help for her son who just had a surgery she showed no empathy at all
I liked the free coffee and relatively clean rooms. The location was near to the downtown shopping area . It is also opposite a police station so I felt very safe.

CanadaOnly two things, first is the Air con in the room is too noisy and the second is the bathtub drains too slow.
The front desk Mr. Asif is really nice and helpful.👍He keeps his smiles t😁o me. Since I do early check-in and he makes his effort to find a room for me so I can have a room early for rest. He say apologise because the restaurant in the hotel was closed due to COVID and tell me where I can go for food. He also explain clearly if I need anything I can call to front desk and it is great that they provide free coffee..

CanadaI was not aware that there were floors of people who needed to be near a hospital...possible sick. This should be disclosed as the pictures are deceiving on the site. It shows a monogramed bath robe on the site...I was wondering why there is no front picture. Driving up we felt like it looked like the mission at first and I felt a bit unsafe. I felt for the 200+ I paid ...I could have done better. The parking is not included and is crazy narrow to navigate. The remote didn't work for the tv.
The rooms were comfortable and a good size and the location was pretty good. The staff were really helpful and nice.

CanadaRoom was ok for cleanliness, the gym equipment was ok. I found it extremely expensive for the quality of the rooms. The foyer area was an uncomfortable vibe with the shelter feel. Everyone was respectful and responsible but when I questioned why the fire truck was there the vague shrug did not make me feel comfortable
Coffee was great, staff was friendly, courteous and helpful, in and out parking was good.

United KingdomIt seemed like the hotel was being used to house vulnerable people or social care and there were lots of people hanging around the entrance and lobby at all times including late at night. Also, the decor in the room was very tired. Poor value for the price we paid.

United StatesThe door to the room didn't close all the way when we left the room on the first day and when we returned at the end of the night, our hotel room door wasn't closed all the way. This was really scary. Thankfully, all our belongings were in the room, but I complained to the front desk to fix the door hinge so that the door doesn't bounce open after shutting it.

CanadaArrived to a SUITE with a broken fridge and water everywhere. No trash bin in bathroom or bedroom No pool view as stated in room description. Both tv's did not work, they paused every 10 minutes as the wifi was so poor. The laminate flooring was separated so bad we were all tripping on it. The sofa was so cheap and no arms on it. It was so light weight that a 140 lb woman had to be careful not to tip it. The mirror on the wall was not bolted and could potentially hurt someone really badly. Only Decaf coffee in room. NO SWEETNER in hotel at all ( one of our party was diabetic) The pop machine wasn't working on our floor. The elevators were filthy. No restaurant No café No hot tub Was for 3 adults Only 1 roll of toilet paper Enough towels and soap for only 2 Asked for pillows that never came(only 2) Took multiple times asking to get towels, garbage cans, only 1 bed had a bed bug cover on it. No change room or bath as in room description Outdoor pool has horrible hours 10-8 Fitness room IS NOT LIKE ANYTHING PICTURED Sauna is crappy fits 2 and dirty and unmaintained. There are NO ROBES in any suites. No restaurant Only soda vending machines. STAY AWAY!!!!!
